Entrance to the apartment is via a flight of steps running from street level down to the apartment which is spread over two floors and offers a pleasing amount of space. The property has been lovingly restored to a high standard by its owner and would make a great base for a family or group who wish to holiday together.

A patio area to the front provides out door seating and there is a shared garden area to the rear.

This area of town is characterised by elegant streets and attractive gardens. Small local shops, bars restaurants and galleries are to be found nearby providing the visitor with a range of enjoyable options during their stay. Princes Street can either be reached on foot within ten minutes or there are plenty of buses running nearby.

Central Edinburgh is divided into two distinct areas - the Old Town which is of mediaeval origins and the neo-classical Georgian New Town. The Old Town is home to the Castle, Holyrood Palace, St Giles Cathedral and such sights as Mary Kings Close and the Tron Kirk.

The classical New Town in characterised by graceful town houses arranged round leafy gardens. There are some wonderful interiors to be admired in some of the grand banking halls. The Georgian House in Charlotte Square has been restored by the National Trust and offers the visitor an insight into how these houses would have been lived in.

An attractive Dining hallway, with table and chairs for 6 people has rooms radiating off it. The sitting room offers attractive period features and there is comfortable seating for up to 6 people orientated round an attractive marble open fireplace. A TV with a Freeview Box, DVD Player and CD player have been provided so that a relaxing evening in can be enjoyed. Broadband and telephone access is available in all rooms.

The carefully planned kitchen has been fitted to a high standard with a gas hob, electric fan assisted oven and electric griddle set in granite worktops. Equipped with an integrated dishwasher, washing machine and fridge, Microwave, toaster, kettle, foreman’s grill and liquidizer as well as an additional larder fridge/ freezer you will find everything necessary to cook a meal in should you wish to prepare some of Scotland’s wonderful produce yourself.

A very useful cloakroom has a WC and wash hand basin.

There is one good sized twin bedroom on the upper floor and two bedrooms (one double and one twin) on the lower floor which have plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Both are decorated in restful neutral tones and have deep window seats and are lit by external light wells. The Master bedroom has the benefit of an en suite shower room. A second bathroom in a classic black and white theme has a bath with a shower drencher over, wash hand basin and W.C.
