The master bedroom has king size bed, chest of drawers, iPod/iPhone/MP3 Dock/clock/radio, built-in wardrobes and separate en-suite with shower cubicle, sink and toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds and built in wardrobes. There is a comfortable double sofa-bed in the living room which sleeps 5th & 6th person. Spacious family bathroom with sink, bath and toilet.

The modern, spacious kitchen has ample cookware, crockery, cutlery, a double electric oven, gas hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and breakfast table to seat 4. Baby travel cot, & high chair to use free of charge, beach chairs/table/umbrella, x 2 hairdryers, iron and ironing board available in the apartment.

Access is by stairs or lift - suitable for disabled. Free, secured private designated car park. Separate car park for visitors.

The "Waterfront", Europe's largest marina with it's own unique shops, large range of international restaurants, cafes and cinema is less than 10 minutes walk. Bus stop with regular service to the leisure centre with swimming pools and fitness/gym suite and town centre is 2 minutes walk from the flat. Golf course within few minute's walk from the flat walk.

Eastbourne is easily accessible by car, bus or train with direct trains from London and Gatwick Airport. Newhaven ferryport with a frequent service to Dieppe is 30 minutes drive so don't forget to bring your passport!!

Gas, water, electricity, heating, WiFi, linen and bathroom towels are included in the rent. Beach towels are not provided. Please do not use the apartment's towels for either the beach or swimming pool use.

The South East England region

London, which is easily accessible by train or car, has so much for everyone that a lifetime is barely long enough to get to know it well. Try the open top bus rides and the river trips to see the major sites with commentaries in many languages. There are also many good themed walking tours. The bus can be caught from most major tourist attractions. A good place to catch a tourist boat is near Westminster Bridge. Pretty much every cuisine in the world can be enjoyed. Chinatown offers a tremendous choice of Chinese restaurants while Covent Garden has an eclectic mix of bars, bistros and street performers.

Eastbourne

Eastbourne has been awarded the Seaside Award for its clean and safe beaches for several years and top sunshine hours in the country. Try the tranquil hideaway Falling Sands Beach at the foot of Beachy Head or the popular stretch between the pier and Wish Tower. Along the 5 miles of seafront promenade, visit the Carpet Gardens, the Napoleonic Martello Towers (one is now a museum) and the restored Victorian Pier. The town boasts a pretty, specialist 'Little Chelsea' shopping quarter. There are 4 theatres, indoor leisure centre with fitness and leisure pools and a third with wave machine, fountains and a slide. There is a wide choice of restaurants and entertainment including, for children, Fort Fun (adventure rides for all ages, including a Run-away Train Roller Coaster, Adventure Land, Crazy Golf & Giant Six Lane Slide), Treasure Island, boating lake, go-karts, miniature railway, American Adventure golf and crazy golf. The local history and Military Museum are located on the seafront. Boat trips to Beachy Head lighthouse available from the Marina.

Various concerts & events over summer & Christmas; Magnificent Motors Show; Eastbourne Extreme; AEGON International Tennis Championships (22 - 28 June 2015); 999 Display; Airbourne International Airshow (Red Arrows) display; Eastbourne Victorian Festivals; Eastbourne Beer Festival; Beachy Head Marathon.

Sussex Coast: Just the other side of Eastbourne is Beachy Head with its 4,000 acres of coastal walks a Visitor's Centre displaying exhibitions and 3-D slides on the history of wildlife and Bronze Age man in his hut. Historic Pevensey Castle (where William the Conqueror landed in 1066), Battle, Brighton and Hastings are also close by. Drusillas, Knockhatch Outdoor Adventure Park and Dry Ski Centre, East Sussex National Golf Club, Glyndebourne, Wakehurst Place and various National Trust houses and gardens are within easy reach. Trips to France are available from Newhaven.

Sovereign Harbour, built in 1993,is about 2 miles from the Town Centre and is the largest marina in Europe. The locks are manned 24 hours a day, every day and visiting vessels are always welcome. Berths are available to rent either daily or weekly. The 'Waterfront' offers plenty of family and specialist restaurants and cafes with outside seating - a great place for relaxing and watching the world and the boats go by. Sovereign Retail Park has ample and convenient parking and has a large supermarket, multiplex cinema, petrol station, Next, Boots and other larger shops.

"What a view!"

Set on the sea front, this modern 2 bed apartment was clean, well furnished and ideal for a family break. 4 adults and 1 child, there was ample room for us all.
Kitchen well equipped for self catering, and a good selection of supermarkets close by. On the 2nd floor, but serviced by a lift. Good selection of books, videos and games supplied.
Owners very easy to deal with and gave good information pack before arrival.
Great walks along the seafront, this is a private area, so is relatively quite and peaceful. Easy 10 minute walk along to sovereign harbour, where there is a good selection of restaurants and bars. Great if you like to view harbours and boats.
