The South East England / Sussex region
Eastbourne is a seaside town, with unspoilt Victorian architecture, a beautiful pier and seafront. Good sunshine record and very well kept beach front. There are numerous entertainments including; two theatres (one victorian, one modern)
Eastbourne is nestled under the South Downs; which is a dramatic and beautiful part of Sussex, close to Beachy Head cliffs (National Trust area) with amazing sea and downland views, excellent walking (South Downs Way).
Eastbourne is surrounded by countryside, but is also convenient with Brighton being short direct train or only half an hours drive away. Brighton has excellent shopping and an excellent nightlife. Also a direct train link to London (1.5hrs) There are a multitude of tourist attractions nearby including Wadhurst Llama Park, Lewes Wildfowl and motor museum, Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway, Brighton Sea Life Centre and Hastings Castle.

Eastbourne is a delightful town, with a beautiful unspoilt Victorian seafront and pier. There is a large modern indoor shopping centre and numerous bars and restaurants.
Top tennis stars battle for the prestigious International Women's Open trophy at Devonshire Park, with TV coverage beamed live across the world, every June. The event returns from 14 - 21 June, with players competing for the coveted trophy, currently held by Justine Henin.
The town has two beachfront entertainment parks for the kids; Treasure Island includes a large climbing pirate ship an outside paddling pool, sand area to play in and grassed picnic area with a cafe for food or snacks. Also mini golf and soft play indoor area.
- Fort Fun is an adventure park with small fairground type rides, a run away train, little motor bikes, spinning tea cups, carousel etc..
- Eastbourne Miniature Railway has a small train that chugs around the park and a great outside play area with loads of things to keep children amused, including a maze to get lost in!!!!
- Drusillas Zoo is only 15 minutes by car from Eastbourne. The kitchen /dining room has high ceilings, feature fireplace, an antique pine dining table and french armoire - also bespoke reclaimed pine units, belfast sink and fridge/freezer. Oak wood flooring.
Stairs lead down to the utility area with washing machine, dishwasher and door to garden.
The patio garden is verdant with plants; there are chairs and the patio is a real sun-trap
Second floor accommodation is as follows: Double bedroom with desk & chair. Single bedroom with white wash hand basin and desk & chair. Bathroom with stained glass wall feature; white freestanding bath, blue marble topped vanity unit set in antique wood stand, Amtico flooring. Separate toilet, blue flowered victorian style fittings.
Third floor accommodation is as follows: Large bedroom with double bed, desk & chair, white vanity unit with under cupboards, pine wall cupboard.
