The South East England region

Pevensey Bay is one of the best locations in England for sunny fine weather.

Pevensey Bay is steeped in history from the Battle of Hastings and the landing of William the Duke of Normandy on 14th October 1066 to more modern day conflicts in the preparation for the Normandy landings in June 1944.

There are very many excellent sites to visit that are close enough to only require a short car journey.

Eastbourne holds a weekly market on Wednesday for all fresh produce, cheeses, craft and collectable items. There are many antique shops in the area

In early August each year Eastbourne hosts 'Airborne' .This magnificent 5 day event is a must as watching all the aircraft ,especially the 'Battle of Britain Memorial Flight' flying low over the sea ,is a truly awesome sight.

"Disappointing"

The location is great, but everything else should be better considering the price. Cleanliness should be a priority, but this owner rely' s on previous guests to clean and we all have different … More

Thank you for your comments. Tombreck is our family holiday home and as stated in the listing it is decorated with an eclectic mixture of old and new furniture. This makes it ideal for families to visit.
I asked for you to replenish our Welcome Pack at the end of your holiday as on this one occasion I was unable to visit the bungalow during the change over period however it was not necessary as our new cleaner did check and clean the bungalow after you.
Prior to all of our lets arriving the bungalow is fully cleaned and this had been done before your visit, on this occasion, by myself and my wife.
As for the bathroom it is going to be updated at the end of this season.
