The contemporary open-plan living space has a stylish modern kitchen ideal for a self catering holiday with dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge-freezer, microwave, etc. The lounge has a flat-screen TV, plus sofabed for extra guests, and there are French doors leading to a delightful private south-facing sun terrace, with table and chairs.
If the evenings turn chilly, there is underfloor heating throughout, plus additional radiators – making this a cosy option for a seaside break summer or winter.
Gresham House is located just 100m from Eastbourne’s beachfront, with the pier, a world class yacht marina, the Arndale shopping centre, excellent pubs, restaurants and the Roux Brothers beach café amongst its nearby attractions. Hartington Place typifies the new ‘urban cool’ design wave that is sweeping through this traditional seaside resort.
Gresham House is a Grade II listed building and is a redevelopment of four mansion buildings built in 1864. It has been restored to enhance the building’s classic, Regency architecture and as part of this the Regency stucco frontages and decorative internal arch work have been fully refurbished. The building was at one time a home for ex-mariners known as The Royal Alfred Seafarers' Society Home.

KidzSafe waterproof identification wristbands are supplied free of charge so that parents can tag children with their mobile phone numbers. The pier offers traditional seaside amusements and if you’re trying to drag them away, Fusciardi’s ice-creams are unsurpassed as bribery!

Additional costs: parking permits cost £1 per day / £30 booking fee
To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 plus a £30 booking fee. The balance of payment is then due six weeks before your arrival date. We also hold an additional £500 security deposit for the duration of your stay in case of damage or loss - this will be returned to you once the property has been checked and is satisfactory.
