About the home

Jevington Gardens is a 3 bedroom apartment ideal for a family of 4. The patio garden is ideal for alfresco eating and looking out over the gardens is a nice feature. Take a stroll from the apartment to Devonshire Place seafront and shops in Carlisle Road, The Devonshire, Congress Theatres, Winter Gardens, and Towner Art Gallery are also within walking distance of the apartment. Eastbourne town centre is close by.

The living room is nicely furnished with enough seating for 4 people. There is a dining table seating 4. French doors lead out to the patio garden. The fully equipped kitchen is modern with gas hob and electric oven under, a separate fridge and freezer and washing machine, and microwave.

There are two single bedrooms with single beds and one double bedroom with double bed, free standing wardrobes in all bedrooms. The bathroom is modern and has a shower fitment over the bath, hand wash basin, and toilet.

Further details outdoors:
Jevington Gardens is not a restricted parking area but it does get a little busy. The Park is a wide area great for picnics or just lazing about on hot summer days if you prefer this to the lovely beach just down the road. The winter Gardens, Devonshire Theatre and the Congress are all within walking distance.

Carlisle Road shops and the Grand Hotel shop's are also just round the corner. You could walk to Eastbourne town centre if you feel energetic or simply choose one of the many restaurants located in Carlisle Road. A walk along the seafront to reach the path leading to the south downs walk ways.

Conditions

On booking the property a deposit of £300 is required. Six weeks prior to arrival the balance of payment is due. There is a welcome book in the apartment . There is also a refundable breakage deposit charged of £100.

Fly to Gatwick there are trains from Gatwick directly to Eastbourne when you arrive at Eastbourne train station taxis are available directly outside the station. The apartment is approximately a 5 minute drive from the train station.

“Just right for the family” Nice ground floor/basement flat (with daylight into all rooms), good sized bedrooms with plenty of drawers & hanging space, modern bathroom & kitchen, looks recently decorated throughout. Plenty of towels. Everything you need to cook a meal. Sitting room patio windows open onto patio area (with washing line (pegs provided) & plenty of furniture) & gate in low wall to big (visible) shared grass area behind, perfect for kids. Sign says No Ball Games but not sure if this is enforced or not! 4 mins walk to beach, 2 mins to theatres & plenty of local shops, <10 mins walk to town centre. Right next door to an abandoned building site but boarded up stop kids getting in. Not too unsightly, mostly overgrown with weeds. Helpful agents sorted out a couple of things which needed attention straight away. Some bin bags, washing powder, hand soap, tea towels, dish cloths etc already there - a nice touch. Instructions for appliances & folder with useful info provided. Minor criticisms: - only 1 bedside light & table in the double room - only 3 (pretty uncomfortable) chairs in the dining area - several fold-out stools for kids but it wouldn't do for 4 adults - a little short of cutlery. On the whole, v satisfactory. And the sun shone, which helped!!
