The Oxfordshire region
The apartment is located on the Cowley road, just to the east of Oxford. There are frequent buses to the city centre and to London from near the apartment. The route to the city centre – only a 10-minute walk - could hardly be more beautiful. Taking visitors across the stunning Magdalen Bridge, up the historic High Street, past Colleges on either side, to the epicentre at the top of the High Street. This serviced apartment in Oxford could hardly be better placed for amenities or easy access to all parts of Oxford.
This short stay apartment in Oxford has excellent local amenities with many nearby shops and restaurants, including three supermarkets. The full facilities of the city centre are only 1.5 kms away. The beautiful green areas of South Park, Christ Church Meadows and Headington Park are nearby. Boat hire, including punt hire, is available at Magdalen Bridge five minute away. Making this the ideal apartment for an Oxford holiday letting or for a corporate booking in Oxford.

"Very convenient, comfortable flat within walking distance of Oxford"
If you need a three bedroom flat within walking distance of Oxford, this is a fairly priced option. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely skylit atrium in which to eat, a large bathroom with double sinks and a rainfall shower and three bedrooms with three double beds which are comfortable and enable you to get a good night's sleep. Plenty of closet and drawer space, lots of towels, washing machine etc., all of the amenities you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The front door opens out directly onto the very busy Cowley Road, which can be a bit disconcerting, as it is a heavily frequented street, with constant passersby and lots of traffic. It can be quite loud, so perhaps bring earplugs, but it also means that you are very close to lots of restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets, which is extremely convenient. There is no parking available, so if you have a car, you need to find a solution, as the nearest public parking lot is prohibitively expensive. We used a company called JustPark, which rents out parking spaces in nearby driveways, etc. and found a space about a 10 minute walk away which was reasonably priced. The staff at the letting agency are friendly and helpful even if it may take them some time to respond to you. All in all we were satisfied with our stay.

"Like being at home while at a work conference!"
This flat was perfect for our recent visit to Oxford! We were three independent colleagues attending a conference. The rooms were comfortable - three real beds allowing for a good night sleep. The shower had plenty of hot water, even for 3 showers in a row. The kitchen had everything you could want, just add food! The location was ideal - close to restaurants and a nice, 20-minute walk to the centre, but you could take the bus and be there in no time. The manager was very responsive to our needs and helped in every way she could. We couldn't have found a better arrangement - thank you!

We stayed at The Plain for twelve days when our daughter was married in Oxford. The location was great as it was between our daughter's home and the wedding venue. One closet was even tall enough to hang the wedding dress without touching the carpet. At times, one bathroom for five people was a bit tight. The kitchen is well equipped if you choose to make meals there. It was a ten minute walk or £5 cab ride to the old town and the Airport buses stop just around the corner. Grocery stores are a few minutes walk and there are a multitude of restaurants and pubs very near. The only downside was the road and pedestrian traffic on Cowley was very noisy late into the night.
