The Royal Docks have undergone huge changes in recent years with myriads of transport links being put into East London making areas such as City Airport very accessible via car, rail and bus. The immediate area around the location is relatively quiet enabling the traveller to enjoy quiet nights of relaxation. Nonetheless, close by is the Canary Wharf complex. Bars, Restaurants, Shopping Centres and Activities all abound.

RECOMMENDATION
Now in the business for 2 years and having seen hundreds of families come through exhausted after long trips, we feel that getting a minicab from the airport direct to the apartment is by far the most hassle free and often for large parties the cheapest ALL-IN cost especially as arrangements can be made for the driver to meet you with the apartment keys for that late or really early morning arrival. "CAR PARKING
There is also the car parking at Stansted (and all airports). It's between £3 to £5 but can be more if guests take a long time coming through immigration, passport control and baggage collection.

If customers have a mobile (and speaks English) Sat-In-Car are more than happy to meet them outside the airports and therefore not pass on any car parking charges. This means the driver can simply 'pull up' outside the terminal building and meet them in the pick up/drop off area. If passengers can provide mobile numbers they can e-mail them to Sat-In-Car and and Sat-In-Car will then text the Guest the drivers name and mobile number in order for them to call the driver once they have there luggage and are on their way out.

WAITING TIME
Unlike other companies Sat-in-Car only charge waiting time 60 minutes after the passenger(s) have landed. Then its £20 per hour or part thereof.

SIZE OF VEHICLE
Sat-In-Car need to know, in advance, number of passengers travelling. 1-2 normally means a standard car. 3-4 probably require an estate vehicle (additional £10.00) and 5-6 would need an MPV (people carrier) and possibly a MPV plus trailer."

The agency regulating these bookings has a Travel Industry Designator Service Number 96-0 0213 0 provided by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Prices are subject to Change at agency discretion. However prices at time of securing booking will stand. Tariffs are based on 7 night stays, any less maybe subject to tarriff increases given increased frequency of apartment and linen cleaning as well as availability of owners/staff to manage check-ins and check-outs.

For bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival date, the total balance must be made to secure a booking.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations are not allowed. However every effort will be made to relet the apartment. If fully successful, payment excluding deposit will be refunded.

A security deposit of £400 GBP in cleared funds is payable at/before check in for up to two week stay. Refunded within fourteen working days of check out if no damage to property or content or excessive cleaning needs.
