Home description

New to the Holiday Home market, this self-contained apartment is on the ground floor of a family Townhouse and has own separate entrance with available parking space. The properties location couldn't be better as it is situated only 1 minutes walk from Woodford Underground station (Central Line) which takes you direct to Liverpool St Station in 20 mins and will have you in the West End within 30 mins. It is a mere 10 min underground journey to the Olympic 2012 site in Stratford. There is a supermarket and a large selection of restaurants and takeways, again within a minutes walk.

The apartment has one double sized bedroom with double bed, a shower room/toilet and an well appointed open plan kitchen/lounge/diner. There is a large comfortable futon sofa bed in the lounge which is suitable for another two adults or up to 3 children. Patio doors lead out to a small shared garden, which in turn leads out to a pretty communal garden area which is a pleasant and safe place for children to play.

Off-street parking is available.

The area is very quiet and is within a 10 min walk to areas of Epping Forest, which provides an opportunity for a great days cycle ride.

The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a convenient self-catering holiday in London. Staple items (Tea/Coffee/Milk/Sugar/Bread/Butter etc) will be provided for your use upon arrival.

The South East England / Greater London region

Woodford Green is a leafy suburb on the edge of East London and Essex. It provides many access points to and is within walking distance to the beautiful Epping Forest region but is within easy reach of central London.

The property is a mere 1 minute walk from Woodford Underground station (Central Line) which takes you direct to Liverpool Street within 20 mins and the West End within 30 mins. It is a mere 10 min underground journey to the Olympic 2012 site in Stratford.

East London, England / Woodford Green area

Not only is central London easily accessible but due to the proximity of the M11/M25 there are many historic sites accessible by car, particularly those located in the counties of Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Cambridgesire.

How to get there

Transport connections to/from Woodford Green via train or car are excellent - both apartments are only 1 minute walk from a Central Line Tube Station, Woodford Green Tube Stations respectively, which take you direct to Liverpool Street for the West End.

For those travelling by car the M11/M25 or the North Circular roads are easily accessible.

The closest airports are City Airport (10km away) or Stansted (reached easily via the M11 - takes 30 mins) . Ryanair and EasyJet offer cheap flights from this airport.

The owner is able to offer a drop-off/pick-up service from either City or Stansted airports for a set fee.

Take the Stansted Express and get off at Liverpool Street. Change to the Central Line and board an eastbound train (destination Loughton/Theydon Bois or Epping) and get off at Woodford Station. There is also a National Express Coach service which departs every half hour to Stratford. From Stratford change to the Central Line and board an eastbound train (destination Loughton/Theydon Bois or Epping) and get off at Woodford Station.

From Luton Airport
Take the Thameslink train and get off at Euston. Take an eastbound District or Circle line train to Liverpool Street. Change to the Central Line. Board an eastbound train (destination Loughton/Theydon Bois or Epping) and get off at Woodford Station.

From Heathrow airport
Either take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and change to the circle line until it intersects with the Central line or take the Picadilly line to Holborn and change to the Central Line there. Board an eastbound train (destination Loughton/Theydon Bois or Epping) and get off at Woodford Station.

From Gatwick airport
Follow the signs for direct train links to London and take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station. Get off at Victoria and take the eastbound District or Circle Line to Liverpool Street and change to the Central Line. Board an eastbound train (destination Loughton/Theydon Bois or Epping) and get off at Woodford Station.

There is a refundable £150 deposit required at least 4 weeks before arrival date which serves as a guarantee of booking and also a security deposit, but is separate from your balance.

Cancellation to bookings made within 2 weeks prior to the arrival date, will incur the loss of the deposit.

Full Balance is expected within 2 weeks before arrival (preferably via PAYPAL or bank transfer) or upon arrival if paying by cash. Deposit will be refunded within 5 days of your departure.

Check in/out date and time are flexible BUT preferred Check in time is from 14.00 - 20.00 hrs (earlier or later check in time can be arranged when available)
