A lovely, bright and airy apartment in a modern secure building with an open plan living/dining room, 2 x double bedrooms, 2 x bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen and excellent transport links to Central London.

The apartment is close to shop, restaurants and transport facilities. It is a highly accessible area to all of London via the tube, overground trains and buses. Central London is 20 mins away. We have a station 1 minute walk from the flat.

London Fields is a lovely, vibrant area of East London that is often referred to as one of the coolest parts of London! There are a number of excellent bars, Cafe's and restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the flat at 'Broadway Market. It's a great little hub. You can find grocery stores, deli's, a butcher, fishmonger, off license and bakery all on that one street. There is also a wonderful farmers market there every Saturday that has craft and food stalls as well as the usual farmers fare (meat, vegetables, fruit, cakes etc…). It's busy and fun and there's always some street music too.

You overlook London Fields park from the flat. It's perfect for a picnic. The park has a heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a basketball court as well. For the evening, there's a wonderful pub called 'Pub on the Park' that does really good food and has a large outside seating area. It's just at the end of our road!

Despite being a vibrant area it's surprisingly quiet in the flat. Some peace amongst the bustle outside!

There is also a larger park called Victoria Park which is a 15 minute walk from the flat. There is a variety of Cafe's, pubs and restaurants at one of the park's exits - Victoria Park Village.

We have a very cool independent cinema 10 mins walk from the flat. Hackney Picturehouse opened last year and shows the latest box office films as well as lesser known ones. It has a great little Cafe will free wifi too.

If you're looking to go into Central London the journey couldn't be easier. There is a station 1 min walk from the flat which takes you into Liverpool Street. This has Central line, Circle line, District line and Met line connections to anywhere! You can be in Covent Garden, Soho, Leicester Square, Hyde Park, Oxford Street or Kensington in about 15 minutes.

DEPOSIT

We ask for a refundable deposit of £400 to cover any accidents that happen during your stay. This should be paid via paypal 24 hours prior to your check-in date. The deposit will be refunded to you 48 hours after check-out once we have had a chance to check that everything is in order in the apartment.

The South East England region

East London is a multiculturally rich, hectic, eclectic world. It stretches east from the hip streets of Shoreditch to the terraces of West Ham United FC, south from the taxi-drivers' homeland of Chingford to the riverside pubs of the Isle of Dogs.

For most visitors the key draws are its big weekend markets, glitzy shopping malls and free, family-friendly museums. And thanks to fast modern transport links – notably the Docklands Light Railway and the superb London Overground railway network, it's now even easier to zip off to find many more treasures. A Tudor house in Hackney, modern art in Whitechapel, a towering school for the poor in Mile End, a riverside stroll in Wapping – there's plenty to enjoy here.

East London, England

There's plenty to heart in Hackney, where high art and edgy innovation meet. There are flavours to savour from its lip-smacking restaurants, not to mention world-class coffees (Square Mile coffee beans, anyone?) Quirky, scruffy, sleek or luvvie - the area's bars and pubs suit whatever taste you're packing, as do its diversions (you're seriously spoilt for things to do). And if money's still burning a hole, Hackney's shops and markets sell temptation by the truckload, from vintage fabrics and designer must-haves to rare meats and artisanal bread.

"Great location, nice apartment and landlords"

We stayed in the flat because we were working in the area and because we were a bit sock of hotels. This flat offered a nice private space which turned out to be cheaper than a hotel. The location is great, just next London Fields park, a train station and the hip Broadway market. The flat was nice, 2 bedrooms one en.suite, kitchen with everything that you need and a living room with so many DVDs that you couldn't watch them in a month!
Very nice landlords who actually live there and the flat has therefore a nice personal touch. Internet worked well, everything was in good working order. At times we had some diccficulties with warm water in the showers, but that wasn't really a problem and we didn't contact the landlords to solve this.
All in all great flat if you want to spend some time in London, I would definitively recommend it.
