About the home

Greenstead house is a lovely recently refurbished family home. It is situated in a leafy area of London and in a lovely neighbourhood. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 sitting rooms and a large garden. It comes fully furnished and you will be able to have a comfortable holiday staying in this house and in this neighbourhood. it is a 10min walk to the train station and 10mins train journey to the Olympic village and Westfield mall, about 25mins journey to central London. We offer short to medium stays with a minimum of 1 week.

Further details indoors:
The house has been recently refurbished for the owners use. The kitchen and lounge extended, heating changed and flooring replaced. The décor is of a high standard and the appliances are mostly new and therefore reliable. There are two sitting rooms, a large one and one that has children toys should you have children.

A large garden and use of large babrbeque set. Private front garden and communal lawn in front of row of houses. House is therefore set back from the road reducing any noise form traffic (although it isnt a busy road anyway).

The house has 4 bedrooms but only 3 will be accessible. There is a second sitting room which has a sofa bed.

The East London, England / Woodford Green area

Woodford green is a green suburb of London. Only 25mins to central london however it provides some comfort due to its green surroundings. Areas close to it include Chigwell, Burkhurst Hill, South Woodford and Lougton. There are lots of restaurants on South Woodford high street and bars and other restaurants are also around Loughton and Chigwell.

From Heathrow - Take the M4 and turn off when you see signs for the A406 (North Circular). Take the North Circular all the way till you see signs for Chigwell. Follow the sign for Woodford station. Follow Chigwell road and turn left onto Snake lanes east (rd to Woodford station) take 2nd turning on your left.

From Stanstead - Take M11 into London. Keep to your right when entering London. Follow signs for Woodford, drive on High road Woodford and turn left onto broadmead road. Drive to the bottom of broadmead road and turn left onto Chigwell road. Take the first main turning on your left - Snakes lane east. Greenstead Avenue is 2nd road on your left.

TUBE - Take the tube to Woodford (Central Line) and exit at snake lanes east exit. Walk down snake lanes east and Greenstead Avenue is 4th road on your right.

“Pleasant stay” Very nice owner who did everything to make us feel welcome at the house. Pleasant and clean house with enough space for our family of four. Fast and efficient public transport to the central parts of London.

“great family house, a real home from home” we rented this house for our extended family who were visiting from the USA, its situated in a residential area in the suburbs of London, a 10 minute walk to the local tube station, the house is clean, and fully equipped, perfect for those that want a home environment, the decor is tasteful and neutral, and the owners were very helpful in accommodating our requirements.
