The Somerset region
Somerset is a rural county of rolling hills and sheltered valleys - come and discover Coleridge's favourites: the Quantock Hills or venture to the wild heather clad slopes of the Exmoor National Park. A county of contrasts, Somerset is also home to the unique flat landscape of the Somerset Levels with its rich natural and historical heritage, it is home to some of Britains most valuable wetland habitats and most important battlefields.
Explore the famous Cheddar Gorge and Caves or meet a witch at Wookey Hole! Arthurian legends abound at Ancient Avalon - modern day Glastonbury, with its fantastic eclectic display of shops and landscape dominated by the evocative Glastonbury Tor.
Why not try your hand at some of Somerset's craft and traditional arts centres - or find a unique qift or souvineer. And no trip to Somerset would be complete without a visit to one of the many cider makers, sampling essential!

A great break in a super setting. 6 log cabins - very clean, spacious and with just about everything we needed. There is plenty of room between the cabins, so you don't feel you are living on top of your neighbours, but everyone there, from owners to visitors, was very helpful.
There is lots to do in the area and we didn't get round to half of what we planned, but have no regrets. It was a great break and we would have no hesitation returning to Wall Eden Farm if we return to Somerset.
The site is adjacent to a river. There were plenty of warnings about the potential dangers and fortunately our girls are sensible enough (at 5 and 2) not to go to close.

"Celebrate with larger family in style"
What a great place to meet up and celebrate with a larger family. Mum's 70th Birthday would not have been the same if we had not stayed in the cosy, cosy Wall Eden Log cabins. Everything was perfect, the kitchens, lounges, comfy beds and two bathrooms. We booked three cabins in all, which gave us space but was close enough for us all to get together easily.
Andrew, the owner was very welcolming right from the start, and made booking easy and was even there to meet us when we were late!
The hot tub and sauna were well used, while some of us did archery and some pottery.
We will certainly be back with or without the family.
Many Many Thanks to those who take the time write such lovelly reviews.
Hope to see you again soon
Andy and Katrina
