About this location

The Somerset region

Somerset is a rural county of rolling hills and sheltered valleys - come and discover Coleridge's favourites: the Quantock Hills or venture to the wild heather clad slopes of the Exmoor National Park. A county of contrasts, Somerset is also home to the unique flat landscape of the Somerset Levels with its rich natural and historical heritage, it is home to some of Britains most valuable wetland habitats and most important battlefields.

Explore the famous Cheddar Gorge and Caves or meet a witch at Wookey Hole! Arthurian legends abound at Ancient Avalon - modern day Glastonbury, with its fantastic eclectic display of shops and landscape dominated by the evocative Glastonbury Tor.

Why not try your hand at some of Somerset's craft and traditional arts centres - or find a unique qift or souvineer. And no trip to Somerset would be complete without a visit to one of the many cider makers, sampling essential!

"Nature in its most natural and peaceful setting"

Our 7 day family holiday with my family 4 adults, 2 children, 3 and 5 years at Wall Eden Farm Cabins was an excellent holiday, we have already booked our third visit. On arrival I was so pleased to see pleasant and spacious areas around each cabin, the pond and River Brue part of the park was BEAUTIFUL. Inside, cabins were spacious, clean, cosy and well equiped kitchen. Bedrooms were roomy, comfy beds, twin room ideal for children, bathroom and wet room excellent with continuous hot water, also underfloor heating added to our comfort, expecially when settlilng down on the sofas after a fun packed day to watch TV/Freeserve. The close location to farm animals, sheep, lambs, hens and cows, cycling, supervised archery and pottery, helping in the allotment, planting and gathering vegetables, collecting eggs each morning was a great experience for youngsters and not so young. Wildlife surrounding the cabins, otters, deer, badgers, rabbits, foxes, it's a haven to watch. Returning to use hot-tub and BBQing was so relaxing. The small shop providing basics makes this a very good reason to visit Wall Eden Farm Cabins situated on the Somerset Levels.

We get loads of returning guests and it's so nice to see their smiley faces once again.

Best Wishes Andrew and Katrina

"Great place to celebrate with the whole extended family!"

What a great place to celebrate with our extended familty! Our family who live all over the country booked to stay at Wall Eden Farm to celebrate our mum's 70th Birthday. We wanted somewhere special where we could all be together and we certainly got that.
The cabins were warm and cosy (and for once the electric was included!), but had lots of space both inside and out. The seperate cabins were close enough - but not too close so as to be on top of each other, and provided each family group with space, but being close enough to all get together easily. The pub was also just a little walk along the river.
Our group naturally consisted of all ages, from todlers to oldies. The two bathrooms were a godsend! There was plenty to do on site in the beutifull surroundings, with archery, pottery and an on site hot tub and sauna. We will certainly be back to enjoy it. Maybe there will be some late lambs to frollick around the cabins like we have seen on the website.

We appreciate our customers feedback as it lets us know that we're on the right track.
Kind Regards Andy and Katrina
