The cottage benefits from a large open plan lounge with two new comfy settees and two leather easy chairs. This opens up to the dining area with stunning sea views over Conwy bay towards Anglesey and the Irish sea and rear mountain views. There is a large ground floor master bedroom with a 'super king' size double bed, new en-suite with shower, washbasin and toilet, wall mounted HD digital T/V. With level access once inside the cottage, this bedroom is suitable for elderly or infirm. There are two further bedrooms upstairs, one with a balcony with amazing views out to sea & over to Anglesey & puffin Island, one with twin beds & views over garden and side views to the sea & mountains behind. There is a further bathroom upstairs. There is free WIFI throughout the house.
Plas Arfon cottage is.located just 5 minute drive from award winning Blue Flag beaches. Historic Conwy with its beautiful castle is just 3 miles away and Llandudno with it's Victorian promenade and seaside facilities is only 5 miles away. Perfect for walking and hiking with the Snowdonia National park nearby. Quiet and peaceful, yet only a few minutes drive from the major resorts.
There are several restaurants nearby in both Conwy and Deganwy including The Gladstone, our own 4 star Coastal Dining Inn next door, serving a modern & traditional menu with products sourced from local suppliers.
With several CAMRA awards and the 'Cask Marque' for our cask ales, guests can experience modern and traditional cuisine overlooking the stunning Conwy Bay. Guests of the cottage receive 10% discount of their dining bill.
There is plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. Golfers will find several courses within a short drive.

The property has been refurbished late 2009 early 2010 with a new kitchen, new wood floor, new central heating system. It is furnished and decorated to a high standard, and makes a superb luxury holiday home.
There is an open plan sitting room with new log burner fireplace and two new comfy settees and two leather easy chairs, with plenty of room to relax overlooking the rear garden and mountains. 46" flat screen HD T/V with free view. There is unlimited WIFI throughout the cottage.
This opens up to the separate dining area with a large solid oak table & high back chairs, large oak sideboard console with wine rack . A breakfast bar with 2 high seats and 2 wine fridges, together with the most beautiful sunset, sea and mountain views. There is a CD & radio with an I Pod docking station. The cottage has just had a new fitted kitchen with hardwood worktops, Bosch appliance's, oven and induction hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher etc.
The cottage has two double & one twin bedroom:
Ground floor, 1 x super king size double bed with its own new en-suite with large shower, wash basin & WC and sunset & sea views. Wall mounted LCD digital flat screen T/V. Being on the ground floor this bedroom is Ideal for the elderly or infirm. With level access once inside the house. (There are steps up to the cottage & up to the front door, but only 2 small steps up to rear door.)
First floor, 1 x large double bedroom with sitting area and balcony with beautiful sunset & sea views. A fold up bed can be supplied for an extra child for this room. Also on the 1st floor there is a twin bedroom with full size single beds and with side views to the mountains and sea, both with shared bathroom with bath with shower over, basin & WC.
Ground floor, fully refurbished cloakroom with new basin & WC.
Separate utility room with sink unit, washing machine and dryer, additional full size fridge/ freezer, ironing board & iron.
The house is fully double glazed and has a new central heating system for your additional comfort.
For that special occasion or even just for your convenience, we can arrange for meals to be served in the cottage from our menu at The Gladstone, our AA & Visit Wales 4 star Inn & restaurant next door. Cottage guests receive a 10% discount on meals taken at The Gladstone. Also for a change of scenery you can visit our sister restaurant over in Deganwy, the Castle View & also receive a 10% discount and a warm welcome.
Fast broadband Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the cottage.

The rear garden is a real sun trap and has lovely views to the mountains. It is very private and sheltered and not overlooked. There is a BBQ for guests use on those outdoor evenings that make a holiday special. Outdoor furniture is provided.
The front Mediterranean style garden overlooks the sea and again is private so guests can sit out in the evening and watch the most amazing sunsets over Conwy bay.
Facilities include full central heating, dishwasher, washing machine,dryer, microwave, freezer, DVD, CD & radio with an I Pod docking station and garden furniture. Bed linen and towels are supplied, heating and electricity are included in the price. This is a no smoking property. Small dogs welcome by prior arrangement, (£20 per week supplement) with dog friendly beach close by. Travel cot and high chair supplied.

The Conwy County region
Located in an area of outstanding beauty, Snowdonia national Park is within easy reach.The historic town of Conwy is just a 3 miles away and with all the restaurants and shops in the town, as well as having Llandudno and Deganwy close by this is an ideal touring base for the whole area.
Mount Snowdon is also within easy reach for those who wish to make use of the many magnificent mountain walks in the area. There are plenty of things to keep you busy with the dry ski slope, riding, golf, and fishing.
Just inside the Snowdonia National Park, you can walk up into the mountains from the door. Ideal for visiting historic Conwy with its castle, town walls and quay as well as Conwy Butterfly Jungle, Aberconwy House (NT) and Cadw Plas Mawr. The Victorian town of Llandudno with its shops, theatre and beaches is a short drive. Shops 1/2 mile.
Within walking distance are sandy 'Blue Flag' beaches with activities going on throughout the year. Penmenmawr sailing club has activities and sailing courses for thoise with a more active nature.

With regard to the WIFI we have now had this installed at the Cottage and the WIFI is completely free of charge and unlimited for guests.

"conwy,s hidden treasure"
we stayed in june - my elderly parents and myself - cannot find any fault whatsover - oh! yes, just one - it wasnt available when we wanted to rebook inaugust.
very clean / very spacious / excellent location for getting around - lovely walk to beach over railway bridge - my little doggie loved it.
the staff at the gladstone pub next door were unbeleivably friendly / helpful
our hidden treasure - have booked again for next year and hopefully will book additional week after that,
