About this location

The Province of Munster region

Mill Race House is in the county of West Cork in Southern Ireland which boasts some of the most beautiful countryside in Europe. There are areas of great historical importance and natural charm all of which can be found within a maximum of an hours drive.

There are further attractions throughout the county such as Blarney castle and the famous Blarney Stone. The English Market in Cork city and the many museums within the Capitol. The fantastic live music in Clonakility and it's market. Kinsale town has a wide variety of excellent restaurants and the harbour port has a number of entertaining distractions.

Or it is easy to relax and stay in the local area and drink well and eat good food. Whatever it is you are looking for we are happy to advise and offer our insights.

It is the region and the house that make Mill Race a perfect location for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday with such activities as walking, sea fishing, horseback riding, walks on the beach, scenic drives, golf, swimming, site seeing, fine eating and drinking.

Durrus

Mill Race House is in the outskirts of the delightful and small village of Durrus. The town has real Irish charm to it with a selection of pubs and restaurants and a local shop where you can collect all necessities. We would be delighted to recommend local bars and shops to renters. Durrus is also located in the heart of the countryside and right along the coastline so there are plenty of outdoor activities to be done without getting into a car.
