The Byre is a stone and brick built semi detached barn conversion, set on a working beef and sheep farm on the edge of the village of Coxhoe just six 6 miles from Durham. Boasting one ground floor double bedroom and one first floor twin room both with ensuite bathrooms, this cottage can sleep four people. The rest of the accommodation includes a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room. Outside the cottage are a patio and garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue as well as plenty of off road parking. Situated close to major roads, The Byre is an ideal base for discovering this fascinating part of the country.

Travel cot and highchair. Ample off road parking. Spacious patio and garden with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pubs 10 mins walk. Note: Some traffic noise from the A1(M) is audible from the garden.

There are lots of visitor attractions in the area, such as Durham Cathedral and Castle and Beamish Open Air Museum.
