This one bedroom unit has been fully renovated and upgraded. It sleeps up to four people and is located on the mountain, about half a mile south of Durango Mountain Resort, nestled in a mature aspen grove at an elevation of almost 8800 feet. It is only a two-minute drive to resort base area. It is the perfect location for an active get-away, a relaxing break or a romantic escape. The condo features breathtaking views of the San Juan Mountains from the living room, dining room, bedroom and deck.

The living room is inviting and decorated in an updated “Colorado Mountain Style” … overstuffed seating, earthy colors, with natural wood and stone elements. The 10-foot wide glass door wall opens to a large deck with a seating area to enjoy the fresh mountain air and amazing views. Deer and elk sometimes graze within a few dozen feet of the deck. Hummingbirds provide summertime entertainment as they buzz around enjoying the wildflowers.

The interior dining area features seating for four at a lodge-style solid wood table. There is also a stone patio dining area just in front of the condo with a table and seating for four to enjoy during warmer months.

We often receive compliments from our guests regarding the impressive chef-inspired kitchen. From the upgraded and brand new appliances, new cabinets and quartz counter tops to the quality Italian-made pots and pans, new dishes, utensils and small appliances, you'll be all set to create a gourmet meal. If cooking on vacation is not your thing, no worries, as there is a great on-site restaurant and several others within a one mile radius of the condo.

You'll appreciate the fully renovated spa bathroom with river rock and hydro-rail waterfall shower. Solid hickory custom double vanity and gorgeous tile. It may just be the nicest place you have ever showered! Hair dryer, quality linens and spa amenities (shampoo, soaps, lotion, etc.) are all included. Spa robes are also provided for your use, in the condo, at the onsite hot tub or the nearby hot springs and pool.

After a day on the mountain or enjoying the great outdoors, relax in front of the stone wood-burning fireplace or soak in the hot tub, just steps away from the front door. The cozy sofa will invite you to unwind in front of the new 46-inch HD flat screen TV with premium satellite channels. There is also an extensive DVD library with new release and classic movies, a Sony PlayStation with assorted video games and a selection of books, magazines and 'old school' board games for your enjoyment.

When it is finally time to sleep, retire to the ultra-comfortable king-sized bed with top quality bedding and linens. The master bedroom was just redecorated with all new furnishings. Doze off watching the 32-inch HD flat screen TV/DVD. Bringing friends or family? There is also a queen-sized pull-out bed in the living room with a brand new top-of-the-line memory foam mattress.

Taking a working vacation or just need to check your e-mail or watch Netflix? The condo is equipped with free wi-fi. This unit has a dedicated, private wi-fi service (uncommon on the mountain) to provide faster and bigger bandwidth and more secure access. There is an i-Pad available for your use.

GO GREEN! To help the environment, we have chosen to subscribe to sustainable 100% wind power electricity for the condo and we have converted lighting to efficient CFB's. In 2013 we added a high efficiency European-style heating system throughout the unit. All appliances are new and Energy Star rated. The condo has been painted with low VOC paint.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Krista (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
