HIGH SEASON OFFERS AVAILABLE
1 hour’s drive south from Malaga airport / ½ hour from Gibraltar. Duquesa / Manilva area, great for beach holidays and golfing, with Valderrama, Sotogrande and Duquesa courses within a few minutes drive. The marinas of Duquesa and Estepona with fabulous international dining are only short drives away and for watersport enthusiasts the winds of Tarifa are just past Gibraltar.
This is a new 3-bedroom apartment which sleeps 6, in one double and two twin rooms. There are countryside and sea views from the terrace and only 10-15 minutes walk from a quiet sandy beach with bars and restaurants - tho I would recommend a car to fully explore the area. There is a large swimming pool (which can be seen from the apartment) in a sheltered grassy enclosure and access to another pool in the sister building across the road.
The flat is on a quiet mature development with palm-tree lined avenues. The flat is beautifully furnished and air-conditioned. There is a large flat screen TV, DVD player and satellite TV. There is secure underground parking.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The apartment is at the southern end of the Costa del Sol ,so is much quieter than the over-developed areas around Malaga. Easily accessible on fantastic roads, also ideally located for day trips to some of the classic white villages of Andalucia. Seville is worth a day trip and you can even go South and take a ferry to Africa!
Duquesa / Puerto de la Duquesa area
The Duquesa / Manilva area is great for both beach holidays and golfing, with Valderrama, Sotogrande and Duquesa courses within a few minutes drive. The marinas of Duquesa and Estepona are only short drives away and for water sports enthusiasts the winds of Tarifa are just past Gibraltar. Marbella is a great town to visit for designer shopping and to see the old town.

Should you fancy coming away from Duquesa for a day then Tarifa is s great place to visit. You will see lots of kite surfers & wind surfers, plus the beaches there are amazing! However it is the windy city of Spain as the Med meets the Atlantic. It’s definitely a place that has to be visited. Horse riding in Tarifa is said to be the best. http://www.tarifa.net
How to get there
There are flights from many UK airports to Malaga, and some last minute or early booking bargains are possible out of high season. Gibraltar is even closer and makes for a dramatic arrival. Car Hire is easy from Malaga or Gibraltar airport and you have the choice of either a fast (1hour 15m) drive on fabulous motorways to the apartment or a more leisurely dual carriageway along the coast.

Further details indoors: This fully equipped apartment has excellent, very quiet air-conditioning and marble floors throughout making it cool and comfortable. Sliding doors from the sitting room lead to a terrace with table and chairs to enjoy the views to the sea and across a green valley. There is lift access. A 10-15 minute walk to quiet Aldea beach where there are several beach restaurants / bars and only short drives (or a walk along the beach) to the picturesque and lively marina at La Duquesa and the nearby town of Sabinillas.
