Set amongst tropical gardens, with clover leaf shaped pool and separate children's pool. There are sun loungers for your use and showers and toilets are located by the poolside. The whole complex is secured by electric gates and a night patrol.

As this apartment is often booked by groups of golfers, we are able to change the queen size bed in the master bedroom into two singles if preffered,

The Andalucia region

Duquesa is located between Marbella and Gibraltar and only five minutes away from Estepona. It is on the south west coast of spain,and therefore the climate is good all year round, making it the perfect destination for golfers all year round and holiday makers alike. The apartment is situated next to the puerto de la duquesa marina with its many shops,bars and restaurants some have live music and dancing, others are quiet the choice is yours!

At night have a meal in one of the many and varied restaurants overlooking the water, English, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Tai, American and Mexican, they are all here. They are all open all day and stay open until late at night, when its time to go back to the apartment you will know the car is safely parked and its only a two minute walk back.


Across the road from the marina is the Duquesa Golf and Country Club which boasts superb facilities and a top class 18 hole course, overlooking the mediterranean. More of europes finest golf courses are within a thirty minute drive, including : Los Arqueros, La Quinta, Los Flamingos, MonteMayor, Atalaya Park, Estepona, San Roque, Almenara, Sotogrande, Valderrama and Alcaidesa.

There are so many fine attractions in this beautiful part of andalucia- including GIBRALTOR a little piece of britain in the sun, with its duty free shopping.MARBELLA/PUERTO BANUS - Hang out with the rich and famous in glitzy puerto banus with its designer shops, boutiques and bars centred around the spectacular marina.

CASARES- Virtually untouched by tourism is a 5 min drive away to one of the many historic white villages.

PARQUE ACUATICO MIJAS - Huge water park with several pools and thrilling water rides for all the family.

RONDA - Take a trip into the mountains to visit Rondas spectacular gorge and famous bullring!.

SEWLO NATIONAL PARK - A nature park where animals of the five continents co-exist in semi wild conditions.

"A fantastic apartment on a fantastic complex."

Firstly I would like to say that all communications with the owners from my initial enquiry through to our return were excellent. All of my questions were answered in full and in a timley fashion and any requests I made were accomodated.

The apartment was exactly as described and in excellent condition. We visited between the 22.07.11 and 05.08.11 as a group of 4 adults and 3 children. The apartment was clean and well furnished with every item we required. The airconditioning in the apartment can be controlled seperatley on the two floors which was also very useful.

The complex itself is fantastic and in an excellent location. The pool is excellent for all ages and along with the grounds is well maintained. You are located only a matter of a 2 minute walk from beach and the marina with its many bars and restaraunts.

I would highly reccommend the apartment as an ideal family holiday and we are actually considering a return in 2012.

the apartment was clean and everything you needed was there even down to a corkscrew - Mercado (Supermarket) were in the port or 5 minutes up the road, but remember they are closed on Sundays, the only one open is on the main road, by the roundabout, in Sabinillas
