La Gunilla welcomes 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, 1 x double & 2 x twin. It is modern and newly furnished and the private roof terrace is ideal for those sun worshiping afternoons .The private garden, with its own BBQ is perfect for those long leisurely lunches. The living room is bright and airy and open plan to the dining area. The wood burning stove is lovely, and the kitchen is well equipped.
Up to the first floor and guests shall find all three bedrooms. The double boasts an en-suit bathroom; (bath with shower over head).The twins share the family bathroom, with walk in shower.
This house offers excellent accommodation at an excellent price....!
5 mins by car and you can pamper yourself in the DUQUESA Hotel Thalasso Spa...LUXURY !!.
La Gunilla has share of a glorious kidney shaped pool, surrounded by lush tropical gardens....perfect.

La Gunilla is a mere 1.5 km to the beach with it's great chiringuitos, ( beach bars), and a pleasant stroll along the beach will bring you to the famous port of Duquesa, one of the most popular on the coast. Bars and restaurants here are in abundance.
The nearest supermarket is 5 minutes by car.
Puerto Banus and Marbella, only 15-20 minutes by car - great for all that designer shopping and celebrity spotting !!!
Gibraltar is 35 minutes by car, so no problem getting all your Duty Free, just don't forget your passport !!!

The Costa del Sol region
Estepona town, the closest main town to La Gunilla ,( and just 10 minutes away by car) ,is to the west of the Cost Del Sol at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja Mountains. One can venture into the old town of Estepona and marvel at the glorious cobbled streets and orange square. There are gorgeous boutiques to satisfy the shoppers amongst us and endless bars ,restaurants and ice-cream parlours. 21 KM of coastline with clean pristine beaches is yours to enjoy, dotted with chiringuitos ( beach bars) , sun loungers to top up that tan, exercises pit stops and children's mini play parks,...there is something here for everyone.
Estepona enjoys the Costa's all year round sun and remains unspoilt .It retains its historic charm and the people are oh so warm and friendly.
Estepona port, (Just a little closer and a 5 minute drive) has numerous bars and restaurants to try.
Marbella and Puerto Banus are a mere 20 minutes by car, Great for all your designer shopping and celebrity spotting!!!
The famous rock of Gibraltar,only 30 minutes by car , makes for a great day out. It's steeped in history and great for picking up all that Duty Free..( Don't forget your passport ).
Ronda is simply beautiful, Fuengirola is bustling, Casares typifies the Spanish White village.

The Duquesa area
There is so much to do in and around Duquesa,..and so many places to visit. Golf is always a favourite and Duquesa is proud to be situated perfectly amongst the 30 courses on the Costa Del sol.
Horse riding, Quad biking, dolphin watching, guided walks and private boat charters are only a few of the countless adventures to be had...and don't forget to catch a bull fight.
Every Saturday evening, Duquesa port hosts its market. Shopping by the light of the moon is magical, and great fun... please don't forget to bargain.
The Famous Spanish Fiestas are a feast for the senses.There are over 3,000 celebrated in Andalucia alone, so there always seems to be one going on ,and foreigners are always welcome to join in the celebrations.

Excellent townhouse with a fairly large private garden. A good sized pool shared between several houses but we ended up with it all to ourselves for nearly the whole week. The townhouse is set in a quiet residential area with very easy access to the main coastal road. It has a great roof terrace with plenty of space for table, chairs and loungers. The townhouse is ideal for those seeking a quiet, relaxing holiday but within easy reach of the main attractions on the coast. A car would be essential though.
