The apartment is located in a small block (±6 years old) and is on the first floor accessible by either lift or stairs.The accommodation is furnished to a high standard with marble flooring and consists of a large kitchen with table and chairs with small terrace. Spacious lounge with 2 sofa's dining table and chairs, tv, video, dvd with a large selection of films. Door to terrace. There are 2 double bedrooms the master bedroom with double bed and the other with twin beds both adjacent to a large bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and wc. There is a second bathroom with shower sink and wc.

Visit the many Chiringuitos ( beach bars) in the area ,most are within walking distance ( no driving required!) Sabinillas beach is a mile long and has Blue Flag status. You can't beat it for a holiday that requires no effort apart from sunbathing.!
The Duquesa / Sabinillas area
There are many bars and restaurants in Sabinillas there is a market on the promenade on Fridays and a much bigger market on Sundays. The local Spanish town of Manilva and Casares are very close by.
The port of Duquesa (bustling with bars and restaurants) is 2 minutes by car and Estepona town and port with market on sundays 10 mins by car.
During the peak season of July/August there are many fiestas and local events . Details of those will be left in the apartment.

Spent 6 days here at the end of October with 2 young children. Apartment was spotless on arrival , was a good size and enough space for a family of 4. We had a great introduction to the surroundings from the property manager and we found it was handy to have the hire car easily available in the underground car park. The location of the apartment is good for the local shops and especially the great long beach at Sabinillas and we enjoyed long walks beach combing on both the sunny and rainy days. It would have been handy to have Wi fi internet access and next time I will do a little more research before booking but would thoroughly recommend for the reasons of cleanliness, prompt service, location to the beach and value. |

Very comfortable and well equipped apartment, centre of nice town short walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants etc. Pool area lovely and well maintained gardens, no sunbeds which was a bit of a shame but we just used towels on the grass. Travelled with teenagers who were slightly disappointed there were no other English people staying in the area really and certainly not in the other apartments where we were, but this was not a big deal overall. It seemed largely the apartments were Spanish holiday homes. Loved the location, easy walk to shops and good restaurants and beach and also easy walk to Duquesa which is lovely harbour with evening market, and excellent selection of restaurants and bars. Visited Estepona which is also very nice and only just up the road by car. Very close to Gibraltar approx 30 mins by car. Property manager was helpful and available when needed. Would definitely consider a return visit. |
