The apartment is located in a small block (±6 years old) and is on the first floor accessible by either lift or stairs.The accommodation is furnished to a high standard with marble flooring and consists of a large kitchen with table and chairs with small terrace. Spacious lounge with 2 sofa's dining table and chairs, tv, video, dvd with a large selection of films. Door to terrace. There are 2 double bedrooms the master bedroom with double bed and the other with twin beds both adjacent to a large bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and wc. There is a second bathroom with shower sink and wc.

The Costa del Sol region


Visit the many Chiringuitos ( beach bars) in the area ,most are within walking distance ( no driving required!) Sabinillas beach is a mile long and has Blue Flag status. You can't beat it for a holiday that requires no effort apart from sunbathing.!
The Duquesa / Sabinillas area
There are many bars and restaurants in Sabinillas there is a market on the promenade on Fridays and a much bigger market on Sundays. The local Spanish town of Manilva and Casares are very close by.
The port of Duquesa (bustling with bars and restaurants) is 2 minutes by car and Estepona town and port with market on sundays 10 mins by car.
During the peak season of July/August there are many fiestas and local events . Details of those will be left in the apartment.

Had a great week visiting old friends and generally having a good time, no driving involved this time which is always a blessing on holiday, beach and town literally on the doorstep plus three swimming pools on site ! Apartment was very comfortable - home from home. Plenty of bars, cafes etc. Flight into Gibraltar which is approx half an hour from Sabinillas by taxi at quite reasonable fare, although we were lucky enough to have a friend who picked us up. If you have a car this is a good position to explore along the Costa del Sol as motorway runs all along the coast plus you can take a trip into the hills if you fancy a change of scenery. If you prefer a self catering option I highly recommend for all ages, maybe a bit quiet for some older children/teens. |
