The apartment has shower and bath in each of the bathrooms, one being en suite to the main bedroom , and there is plenty of fitted wardrobe space.
The air conditioning/ heating allows comfort controlled temperature throughout the apartment.

There are security gates to the grounds and the portals to the apartment block, one basement reserved car parking space, and direct access from the grounds to the promenade and beach to one side and to the vialle and port from the other.
The many golf courses within a short distance make this an ideal location for a golfing break. The port is only two minutes walk away, where you can while away the day in one of the attarctive bars on the portside, and enjoy the cosmopolitan restaurants and night life.
Whilst it has a good variety of facilities, Duquesa has a slower pace of life and offers a great place for families, couples of all ages and perhaps golfing groups, who want a pleaseant place to enjoy a meal or a drink, but not the hectic lifestyle of Marbella or Puerto Banus.
From Duquesa, you can visit by car a number of the typically Andalucian white villages in the nearby hills, and are within a short drive of Estepona, Marbella and Puerto Banus. A Little further away but well worth a visit are the hilltop town of Ronda, and the famous windsurfing resort of Tarifa.You can take a gentle walk to the adjoining villages of Sabinillas and Castillo de la Duquesa along the level promenade. There are good local and supermarket shopping at Duquesa and Sabinillas.
It is directly across the promenade from one of Duquesa's pretty and unspoilt beaches, with its popular cheringuito beach bars/restaurants.
Alternatively, you can enjoy the morning shade or the afternoon and evening sun from the South West facing large balcony, from where you can watch boats come in and out of the marina, and enjoy your al fresco lunch or evening meal.

A small welcome pack of tea and coffee, sugar, milk and water is provided on arrival.
WE CAN ARRANGE AIRPORT TRANSFER BY TAXI - 90 Euros each direction for up to 5 and limited luggage, or by way of 6 person people carrier and plenty luggage space at 135 Euros each way (recommend booking when also booking apartment so as to ensure availability).
Note that if this apartment is booked for certain dates, or you are travelling with friends who also require accommodation in the nearby location, we have friends with apartments who may have availability and we can refer your enquiry to them.
Conditions
Strictly no smoking except on balcony.
No pets.
25% of rental due on initial confirmation of booking, and balance not less than six weeks before rental date.
The apartment is on the fourth floor, with a lift that is almost directly across from the apartment.
Note that hen/stag parties are only available at our discretion because of some previous problems, and subject to a breakages/damage contingency additional deposit, if we decide to accept the booking.

The Costa del Sol region


Situated to the Western section of the Costa del Sol is the area of Manilva, and the small resort of Puerto de la Duquesa.
Stretching from Malaga, there are a number of resorts including Marbella, Benamadena, Fuengirola, and Estepona, where there are good shopping facilities and lively night-life and daytime facilities, including water parks, wildlife parks etc. In addition the area boasts around 30 golf courses.
Away from the coast are natural park areas and white villages and larger towns, and a little further driving distance, within about two hours, are Antequerra and the Lake areas, Sierra Nevada and Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla. Further West are Gibraltar and Cadiz, and the opportunity to take a short ferry across to Morocco.
The Duquesa / Puerto de la Duquesa area
Puerto de la Duquesa is a little gem in a quieter part of the Costa del Sol, yet can boast a host of facilities and features for you to enjoy on your holiday, apart from just whiling away the day in sunshine or enjoying a drink outside one of the port's bars, just watching the day go by.
You can hire a boat, a bike or go scuba diving or sea fishing, as an alternative to the choice of many golf courses within only a few minutes drive, Duquesa Golf being within walking distance. By day, you can stroll along the level promenades to the nearby villages, stopping for a drink or food en route at a cheringuito beach bars. or spend time on the large unspoilt beaches, with small children's play areas, or have a game of beach volleyball.
Paddle tennis, indoor sports area, sauna and gym are also available within the apartment complex. Within the port, there are attractive plazas with palm trees and fountains, and intriguing local specialist jewellery and clothes shops, as well as newspaper and gift shops,and a small supermarket and English butchers shop.
At night, the port has an inviting and relaxing atmosphere, and you are spoilt for choice of around 20 restaurants including Chines, Indian, Mexican, Italian and English food, and ice cream parlours ,as well as a restricted number of takeaways. There is a choice of bars from those just offering a comfortable place to enjoy a quiet drink, to karaoke and sports bars.

What a spot, beautiful apartment, fantastic location. Marina bars and restaurants all delivered great food with stunning backdrop. Superb location to explore local areas by car. Only let down was that we were there for just five days, could have stayed a lot longer. We had a lovely stay recently at this apartment. it was vey spacious with room for at least six adults. We took our two teeenage children who usually get on top of each other during holiday breaks due to lack of space, but this apartment offered great individual space and two fabulous bathrooms. so there were never any queues for the bathroom. I lived on the balcony as the view was amazing and the location of balcony looked onto the busy port, so there was always something to look at!
