This is a quality corner apartment with a sea view and fantastic large private balcony leading upstairs to a huge private sunroof area.
Adult and children's swimming pools with sun beds and parasols are set within maturing gardens on a private secure and gated complex. Secure underground parking is provided, keeping the car cool on those hot sunny days.

Everything is provided in order to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you require a long weekend or long term accommodation this is perfect.
Two comfy leather sofas, satellite TV picking up all the UK programmes. Access to the balcony which has two aspects is by either of the two sliding patio doors, one from the lounge and the other from the master bedroom.
Use the air-conditioning to maintain a comfortable temperature through your stay and if it should become a little chilly of an evening heating is available.
For long stay visitors additional storage is available in the underground car park area, here you will have one car parking space allocated to you.

From the balcony you can enjoy views of the sea and across towards the Estepona mountain. For a complete panoramic view take the steps to the roof terrace where you can enjoy a few hours in total solitude.
The outside table and chairs are perfectly situated on the balcony for a late morning breakfast or maybe lunch, evenings spent on the balcony with a bottle of something with a cork in can be most pleasant. Access to the apartment is by passenger lift or stairs, really easy for the young and old alike, go right down to your car in the basement carpark if you are going out.

Special needs can be accommodated in order to look after the youngsters, with high chairs, cots etc. just let us know in good time and we can sort out almost everything that you could require. If you are a large party then take two apartments, or as many as you need, this can easily be arranged if you simply let me know in good time due to the network of friendly owners.

The region has many well known places to visit; from Malaga down to Sotogrande, including Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengarola, Mijas, Marbella, Calahonda, Estepona, Puerto Banus, San Pedro, and so many more. Manilva is a short drive only from Gibraltar, being just 20-25 minutes away.
There are dozens of golf courses on the coast such as Valderrama a previous venue for the Ryder Cup (15 minutes drive away). Sotogrande and San Roque are also well worth a visit and are just 15 minutes drive away. Manilva is an ideal place for groups, couples as well as families.
Sotogrande is a top class resort area with a fantastic marina, bars and restaurants. The area is world famous for the sport of polo. The area is also well known for the nature area which is accessible to the public.
Gibraltar can be seen in the distance as you drive along the coast road. Everything is British, spend your English money there and go see the famous monkeys (apes). Why not take a trip across to North Africa? regular sailing leave for Tanger.
The Duquesa / Manilva area
Manilva Beach is a great location for people looking for an activity, beach or exploring break or holiday. The local beach is just 5 minute walk away.
The apartment is less than 5 minutes by car to Duquesa, which is a marina for all types of yachts. It is also a great place to eat out with its variety of bars and restaurants the local shops are all worth a look around and ideal for buying the fresh bread.
Duquesa Hotel & Golf is just half a mile away, why not pop into the hotel and take a look at the Spa facility.
Close by is the Spanish town of Sabinillas with beautiful beaches, shops, banks, supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
Fresh locally caught sea food is available from the restaurants! There are also markets on Fridays and Sundays.

Most budget airlines fly to Malaga airport. Roughly 2-2.5 hours flight from the UK.
Malaga Airport is aprox. 55 mins in the car to Manilva Beach - take the scenic coast road A7, or the fast toll road AP7.
Gibraltar airport is only about half an hours drive away - generally you don't get the same flight choices as Malaga. ***Monarch now fly to Gibraltar from selected airports

Stayed for 1 week from 16th July 2012 with family (2 teenagers) apartment is exactly as described. Great size, air con a blessing, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Manilva still at development stage but only short drive from picturesque Duquesa. Great bars/restaurants around marina. Beach within walking distance as are several beach bars. Supermarket a short drive away. Pool area great for kids, always managed to get beds but was getting busier towards end of our stay. Short drive to Gibraltar where we stayed for our second week. With hindsight wish we had stayed 2 weeks in Manilva and driven back and fore to Gib. Would definately return and have no concerns in recommending to others. |
