Home description
The apartment is set in beautifully landscaped grounds with its own private pool, which is directly in view the property from the terrace to keep an eye on any children. A modern well appointed apartment with appropriate appliances with a lounge that leads onto the balcony with additional internal access to the second floor which leads to the 2nd lounging area, leading directly out onto the large roof terrace which attracts the sun throughout the day.
There are many beautiful beaches, only a short distance away and the close proximity of several marinas in each direction along the coast which will make for a relaxing holiday. Golf is also a key attraction to the area with several nearby courses including Finca Cortesin, the new home of the World Matchplay Championship, with its Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy and the new Don Julia course all in walking distance. Other courses nearby include Valderrama, San Roque, Sotogrande. A wide selection of restaurants is within a 15 minute drive, serving a selection of foods, (inc Spanish, Mexican, Chinese, English, Italian etc). Within easy reach are the towns of Estepona, Duquesa, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Gibraltar & Rhonda.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol has the best climate in the whole of Europe, with an incredible 325 days of sunshine each year. Even during the winter months, it’s not unusual to be basking in glorious sunshine whilst the rest of Europe shivers under a cloud of rain.
Beach life is of course a huge draw with some of the cleanest stretches of coast anywhere in Europe and endless numbers of marinas for boat spotters. Along with that, comes the fantastic selection of restaurants, bars and clubs for those who like to party into the night.
Duquesa / Golf and Gardens Complex area
Duquesa Port is a beautiful marina with a variety of international restaurants to choose from when dining out. There are also many shops and bars in the vicinity.
Estepona is slightly bigger than Duquesa and offers even more restaurants and has nearby safari and water parks. There are weekly street markets at Estepona and Duquesa with a variety of goods on offer.
Local activities include cycling, diving, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, swimming, tennis, water skiing, sailing, windsurfing and polo.
GOLF Details: Golf:::The location is a golfer's paradise and fabulous internationally famous courses abound. As you have your own secure garage and hire cars are cheap competitive and offer excellent services for pick-up and drop-off why not see some of the 40 golf courses all within a short drive. LA DUQUESA: Designed by Robert Trent Jones and established in 1985, La Duquesa winds round El Hacho beacon hill with magnificent views over the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and to Africa. The demanding course requires accurate driving and concentration. The 8th par 3 is only 125m long but has a drop of 30m! The course has good practice facilities and lessons for all standards of players can be arranged. This is near my Private estate 18 Holes - Par 72 - 6142m VALDERAMA: (Volvo Masters Championship course) Home to the 1997 Ryder Cup and host in November '99 to the World Golf Championships, Valderrama is rated as Europe's No 1 course, and is one of it's toughest challenges. Immaculate fairways, notoriously difficult par 5s, super fast greens, everything about this course is stunning. Booking is difficult as tee times are very limited. About a 5 minute drive from the estate. 18 Holes - Par 73 - 6234m SAN ROQUE: A Dave Thomas designed course and always kept in immaculate condition, San Roque has been the venue for a number of European Championships. The front nine meander through woodland with 100 year old cork trees, whilst water presents the main hazard on the return leg, notably on the 12th and 18th. Quality golf on a superb course. Approx 10 minutes drive SOTOGRANDE: Often voted amongst the top 10 courses in Europe. Sotogrande opened in 1964. It's 18 manicured holes, designed by Robert Trent Jones, have established trees of oak, pine, eucalyptus and palm. Water also plays an important part, affecting play on the majority of the back nine. This a 10 minute drive from the estate. Approx 15 minute drive. 18 Holes - Par 72 - 6298m FINCA CORTESIN: 18 holes – Par 72 – 6802, (Black), 6351m (White), 5884m (Yellow), 4852m (Red) This is the NEW championship 18 hole course and will be the NEW venue for the MASTERS tournament in 2009. where we should expect the all the world class golfers to take part including the likes of TIger Wood. The Club House and facilities are all an excellent standard and a bonus with their location so close to the Casares del Sol development.
How to get there
Road access to Marbella, Malaga, Jerez, Cadiz and Seville and all along the Costa del Sol is easy by the motorway (A7) or new Toll Road (AP7). Gibraltar is the nearest international airport at just 25 minutes away and Malaga is 45 minutes.

Taxis - The airport taxis will take you anywhere along the Costa del Sol, the rates are fixed and the current tariff should be available in the taxi.
Duquesa is 44kms west of Malaga airport, an easy 45 minute drive and 20kms from Gibraltar (approx 20 mins drive).
