The Costa del Sol region


The Costa del Sol stretches along just over 150 kilometres of Malaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations.
Duquesa is situated between Marbella and Gibraltar close to the picturesque fishing town of Estepona and 20 minutes drive from the famous Puerto Banus.
The area around Duquesa boasts an array of courses including championship golf courses at Valderrama and San Roque.
The surrounding area has a collection of activities including theme and water parks, mini golf, go-karting and an open-air zoo. Places to visit include Gibraltar; Tangiers in North Africa is only a short boat ride away, Cadiz and Seville.
The climate in the winter is still very mild but if you wish to go skiing then it is possible as the Sierra Nevada is only 2 hours.
If you had enough of the beach then the shops are not far in Puerto Banus and Marbella or take to the many different choices of bars, restaurants and night clubs.
The Duquesa / Golf and Gardens Complex area
Duquesa has a beautiful marina and lies between two clean blue flag sandy beaches including beach bars.
The port offers a wide choice of amenities including banks, supermarkets, beauticians and a variety of restaurants and bars including French, Chinese, Thai, Italian, English and of course Spanish.
Local activities would include fishing, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing and diving.
Across from the marina is La Duquesa Golf and Country Club an 18 holes course with wonderful sea and mountain views. The club also has tennis, squash, and a fully equipped gym.
