This immaculately looked after apartment is on the exclusive Duquesa Suites Golf and Gardens complex. The apartment is situated on the ground floor with a large walled in terrace over looking the beautiful tropical gardens and cascading ponds. Make a splash or simply relax by one of the two hotel size swimming pools or play tennis on the paddle tennis court.

The beach is only a short drive away or a ten minutes walk next to the port which is full of restaurants and bars to cater for your evening out. Next to the complex is a courtyard of lovely places to eat and drink in a relaxing Spanish setting. Duquesa Golf course is five minutes walk away. Two very good supermarkets are five minutes drive from the apartment. We have our house keeper to look after you during your stay to make sure your have the perfect holiday.

28 inch TV with DVD, CD and digital radio player and a new I-pod / MP3 Speaker . Large DVD film collection, games and fictional and children's books for all guests to enjoy. Cot high chair and buggy hire available plus toddler table and two chairs, baby bath and changing mat also available free of charge.

The apartment has air conditioning / heating. Beach towels and hair dryer provided.

The main bedroom and lounge lead onto the large terracotta terrace and this gives the apartment a greater sense of space. The terrace is furnished with a round glass and silver metal table with matching chairs and two matching sun loungers. The terrace is partly covered by the balcony above but gets plenty of sun. Situated on the more exclusive side of the development the terrace is opposite the gardens and cascading ponds. The small access road in front makes it ideal for easy access with luggage, shopping and small children etc. The terrace is walled around with entrance gained either via the lounge or main bedroom from the inside of the apartment or via a lockable gate giving access to all the communal areas but making it very safe for small children to play in the open. We provide ashtrays for people who wish to smoke - but please only smoke on the terrace. this is a non smoking apartment.

The prices shown are for up to 4 people in the apartment per week.

The apartment can sleep up to six people using the queen size sofa bed.

Please add an extra £50 per week per person for the fifth and sixth persons using the sofa bed in the lounge to cover the extra cost of the linen, towels, utilities and cleaning. If the cot and high chair is being hired for the extra person then they only have to pay the hire fee.

Bathrooms: Main bathroom spa bath with shower, W.C., bidet and sink - en suite for Bedroom 1.

Kitchen: Granite work tops, fully fitted with electric oven / grill and electric hob / microwave / grill / fridge / freezer / dishwasher / toaster / kettle / hand blender and fully equipped with everything you will need from corkscrew to measuring jug. We provide a collection of plastic baby and toddler plates bowls beakers and cutlery.

Utility Room: The Utility room has the hot water tank plus the washing machine in addition two clothes horses and pegs to dry clothes on the terrace and when everything is clean and dry we have an ironing board and iron if needed.

Living Rooms: DVD, CD Digital radio and I-pod / MP3 player with large DVD film collection, games and fictional and children's books are on the bookcase in the spacious lounge /dining room that leads onto the terrace. The glassed topped dining table can seat comfortably six people and when needed will extend to seat 8 to 10 We also have enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for 12 place settings. L shape sofa.

Other: The ground floor terrace is so large it feels like another room to the apartment.

The apartment will be clean and ready for your arrival with freshly made beds and towels provided, Cot high chair and buggy hire, welcome food shop and airport transfers can all be arranged at an extra cost.

Two week bookings will have a mid-stay clean and change of linen provided free of charge. Extra cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost.

Beds have duvets (summer 4.5 togs, winter 9 togs). and a top sheet in the wardrobe to be used when quilts are to warm. 2 pillows per person and bath, hand towels are also provided.

Hair dryer provided. If you bring with you hair straighteners or hair curlers please use protection between the dressing table top and the hot irons.

To the left of the terrace is the small children's play area and communal barbecue area. You also can see the sea from this spot. Opposite the apartments are the gardens and ponds of cascading water which leads to the first of two hotel size swimming pool for adults and the smaller safer children pool. Sun beds are provided, the other swimming pool is on the inner side of the apartment building here can also be found the communal library and computer with Wi-Fi room. The security guards and entrance comes next and just a little further along is the paddle tennis court.

THIS IS A NON SMOKING APARTMENT. Smoking is only allowed on the terrace ash trays are provided.

Children under the age of 14 have to be supervised around the swimming pool.

Please only park on our designated car parking space number 243 opposite the terrace which give easy access to the apartment and makes it very handy for luggage or shopping.

Change over days are flexible through out the year but we prefer during July and August week to week ( See calendar for available dates).

If guests are arriving the same day guests are leaving please vacate apartment by 11.00 am and if you are arriving you will be able to gain entry into apartment by 16.00 hours local time These times are flexible to accommodate guests and we will be able to let you know the exact time nearer your booking.

We have a house keeper / managing agent who looks after the apartment and all our guests.Any problems they are there to assist you.

The Andalucia region

If you're feeling like beach is fine but not all the time Duquesa offers this with a dollop of socialising, shopping, visiting Puerto Banus for a drink at one of its many bars and restaurants or if the urge takes you having a gamble at the casino or even dancing at one of the many night clubs on offer. For all this our Duquesa apartment is where you should head. Thirty minutes from Gibraltar Airport or one hour from Malaga Airport or one and a half hours from Jerez Airport ideally situated above Duquesa Port with a long stretch of beach and a marina full of restaurants and not far for exploring Marbella, Rhonda, Granada, Malaga and Gibraltar.

La Duquesa Golf and Country Club right next to the complex boasts an 18 holes course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., a technical masterpiece with wonderful sea and mountain views. In addition to golf, the club offers many facilities including tennis, squash, and a fully equipped gym with a qualified resident trainer. Membership is available. The whole golf complex has recently been upgraded to a very high standard. Further golfing challenges are close at hand: Alcaidesa, a Links course overlooking the Rock of Gibraltar; Valderrama, host of the Ryder Cup and World Championship, only ten minutes from La Duquesa; Sotogrande, a parkland course; and La Cañada, a wonderful golf challenge where the fairways are as thick and lush as carpet. San Roque, host to the qualifying schools, is also only a few minutes away. And if this is not enough, there are another 40-odd courses within an hours drive.



The flat is a 10 minute walk from the Port of Duquesa which has its own beach. A short walk from the Port brings you to the lovely beach at Sabinillas which is a charming Spanish seaside town and holds a large market every Sunday which has relocatted to the stadium above Sabinillas. The marina itself has over 50 resaurants and bars to choose from.Large sellectionof Supermarkets are five minutes by car . The Golf course is designed by Robert Trent Jones and is the most reasonable in the Costa del Sol. (More information can be found about Duquesa on the Internet by using Google or Yahoo.)

Manilva is a little Spanish town at the back of Duquesa and produces local wines.

Sabinillas is the local Spanish town and is within walking distance. It has local festivals and a weekly market. There is a church in Sabinillas and the local bus station.


To the East you have Marbella and Puerto Banus, which are about 25 minutes from the apartment by car. To the west you have Sotogrande about 5 minutes by car and Gibraltar which are about 25 minutes away by car.

"Home from home"

Lovely apartment. Very clean, comfortable and has everything you could possibly want. Great base for travelling around and seeing the delights of the Costa Del Sol. Plenty bars and restaurants nearby to eat, drink and be merry. Also the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Can't wait to go back.

"Perfect location for our short break"

I made the short trip from Gibraltar to Duquesa for a short break with my husband, our 3 month old son and another couple. The apartment was perfect in everyway and I couldn't have faulted it. It is very well equiped and even had a baby bath, changing mat and cot for the the little one. The pool areas are lovely and the weather was nice enough for us to have a dip (but unfortunately too cold for the little one). We also used the communal BBQ area but didn't get round to using the tennis courts/basketball court. The port is within walking distance where there are lots of nice bars and restaurants.
The owner was very helpful and answered any queries we had (such as the password for the wifi) immediately. We would definitely use this apartment again :)

"Wonderful reliable info an excellent apartment, home from home..."

.....this apart has everything anyone could need, if you have children it is so well equipped you'll be forgiven for thinking you are at home, so no need to worry about carrying extra toys! The pools are a minute away fro apart, and the HUGE balcony has the sun all day, is well furnished, but you can sit right back to avoid direct sun too.....very smart interior and so absolutely immaculately cleaned. The beds are very comfortable ( although a little low for my husband and I, however we are pensioners!) There are a lot of channels available on the television but you may like to take your SKY Card?? We didn't bother and were fine! I can say with hand on heart what a wonderful lady the owner is, nothing is too much trouble for her if you have any need for advice or help!
She has covered everything in the apart booklet/folder is amazing with any and all the tips and advice you need, ( some of the trip prices are a little out of date!!)
The area is very close to the Marina, which is a beautiful place to eat and sit to people watch, it's buzzing in the evenings but not overly noisy, wonderful. It would be an easy walk down hill and prob take 10 mins or so, but back up could be a bit too much especially if you have young children? We had to use the car as I have walking restrictions!! However the complex is mostly flat, and easy.
All I can say to sum up is, We have been to many apartments and some better than others, and in this area, We would definitely return, thank you Caroline for your support and Sue for the standard of proper cleanliness you provide. Happy holiday in Duquesa Apartment...111. Have already passed on the details to 2 friends!!!

"Very much home from home"

The apartment was very well kept and had all the facilities required. Some outside parts of the building, unfortunately, were in disrepair and clearly wanted a facelift.

The gardens and pool areas were very well maintained, and the location being 15 minutes walk to the seafront made it an ideal location. Lots of places to eat and drink at reasonable prices around the Port.

"Perfect relaxing holiday"

Absolutely fab apartment,everything you could possibly need and more,and very clean,we had a late arrival,so the shopping we ordered through Sue was a godsend. A big thank you too,to Jamie,the security guard,who helped us with our luggage and showed us to the apartment.The complex had lovey pools and gardens,all lovely and clean.We were a party of 5 adults,from 30 to 67 plus an eight month old baby,and all of us were happy with the location.We didn't take a car,the port was a 15minute walk,no problems for any of us,though there is a little bit of a steep walk back,again,no problems for us,but there were always taxi's available on the port,costing about 5 euro's back.
Lots of variety of bars and restaurants down the port. There is also a little courtyard 5 mins from the apartment that has 2 bars,a wine bar,a bakery,a lovely little shop called Twig and recently opened,a take away Kebab shop.
Big thanks to Caroline for all the care and attention to detail that made the holiday so perfect.

"Very peaceful"

Had a lovely fortnight with my family of 5 at an excellently equipped, clean, 2 bed apartment. The main pool was perfect for our 8 yr old and 2 teenagers. The restaurants and little markets in the port were perfect. The beach was beautiful.

Lovely appartment that is clean and very comfortable with everything you could need. Lovely well maintained grounds and swimming pools. Good location although very busy with tourist.

"Excellent apartment"

Super apartment everything one could wish for, well stocked with all the kitchen utensils you would need. Lots of books and games provided. Sky Tv, I pod dock, DVD player

Lovely sun terrace beds and table and chairs. 2 swimmimg pools, well kept gardens.

Handy for lots of places of interest.
Very comfortable beds, lovely linen and towels. Very clean and well maintained.
