Home description
Our apartments are ideally situated in the Port of La Duquesa. We have our own bar with large screen TVs, Reception with in house manager and Laundry/dry cleaning services available. Within a minutes walk there is a choice of nightlife, international restaurants and other activities. Nearby there are at least 11 golf courses (including the championship courses at Valderrama and San Roque) making it an ideal choice for both families and golfers.
Each apartment is furnished to a high standard, with its own unique character. It is well proportioned and provides ample light and an airy living space, all with double glazing so local noise is minimal. Individually controlled heating and air conditioning units mean that you can control your own environment, keeping you cool in summer and warm during those colder months.
Nearby is Sabinillas, where you will find a good selection of shops and a lovely promanade for long walks along the sea front. The town of Estepona is also just a short drive. Gibraltar it about 20 minutes by car and Malaga about an hour. Transfers can be arranged from the airport if required.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Puerto de la Duquesa is a pretty port situated between Estepona and Gibraltar. The port has many bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. You can take a picturesque walk from the port to the nearby village of Sabinillas or El Castillo which both give a flavour of the real Spain. Sabinillas holds a weekly market on Sundays.
Head into the hills and 15 minutes away is the beautiful hillside village of Casares. Steeped in history, this village has an ancient church perched on its highest point which presents its visitors with amazing views to the sea, coast, Gibraltar and Africa.
Marbella and Puerto Banus are only a short drive away. Great shopping, great restaurants and great nightlife!
Families will love a day out in the Selwo Safari Park, which can be found only 20 minutes away. Selwo is home to many wild animals, all of which can be seen either on foot or by taking the various tours aboard their specialised jeeps. If you want to venture further afield, Selwo Marine Park can be found in Benalmadena, with daily dolphin shows, penguin experience and much more.
If you are a keen golfer then Puerto de la Duquesa is an ideal location. As we are located between Marbella and Sotogrande, there are over 30 golf courses in the surrounding area including the world famous Valderrama course, The San Roque Club (home of the Spanish Golf Open 2005) and the Duquesa Golf course located just across the road. How to get there
Malaga airport is a 50 minute drive on the motorway, Gibralter airport is a 30 minute drive. From the airport you may choose to take a taxi to the apartment (approx 120 euros / £90 from Malaga or 40 euros / £30 from Gibraltar). Car hire is easily available and very good value on the internet. You can arrange to collect it at the airport for your own ease.
