Home description

Apr 451over looking pools, beach and sea, just one minute walk from the beach. On the outskirts of typical Spanish town of Sabinilias in Manilva, forty five minutes drive from Malaga Airport and thirty minutes from Gibraltar.

Quiet and peaceful, yet only a short distance from the larger resorts such as Estepona, Puerto Banus & Marbella, the apt has easy access to all amenities, including the local markets for bargain hunting, marina and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

The apt benefits from its own shared private pools. Leading from the living room is a balcony with stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine and relax in the morning sunshine.

With one double and one twin bedroom, the apt is ideal for families and golfers with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Duquesa is midway between Marbella and Gibraltar on the Costa del Sol - popular for its 320 days of sunshine a year. Africa can often be seen from the miles of sandy beaches.

Andalicia is famous for its white villages, nestled in the surrounding hills and mountains, the closest of these 'Casares' is a 20 min drive through the countryside and makes a great location for lunch, while you admire the breathtaking views.

The Costa del Sol is a golfer's paradise with over 60 courses on the coast including Valderrama (20 mins drive).

Elegant Marbella and Puerto Banus the local 'playground of the rich' are a 30 minute drive.

British owned Gibralter (30 mins) is an alternative day trip, with its VAT free prices, spectacular scenery and the only native monkey colony in Europe.


Duquesa / Sabinillas area

Duquesa Port is one of Spain's best kept secrets. Attractive promenades encircling the marina of gently bobbing boats, offer a variety of restaurants, bars and cafes in which to while away the hours.

To either side of the port are great sandy beaches which never get crowded, both of which have beach bars open during the summer months.

Behind the port lies an 18 hole golf course (Duquesa Golf), with fabulous views of the Mediterranean.
Sabinillas is a 5 minute walk along the beach.

It is an authentic Spanish fishing village, with a traditional selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Here you can witness the daily catch, as local fisherman bringing their boats onto the beach. Then you can select one of the great fish (or other) restaurants for lunch.
5 mins inland from Sabinillas a great Sunday market is held, which attracts many visitors.


How to get there

Airports
Approx. 1 hour's drive from Malaga airport, 25 minutes drive from Gibraltar airport and 2.5 hours drive from Jerez airport.

Car hire is not essential but is recomended to get the most out of your holiday.

Airport Transfers / Taxis
Approximate taxi prices are 120Euros from Malaga Airport and 40Euros from Gibraltar airport per 4 people.

Airport Transfer prices generally are slightly cheaper but prices do vary.

A deposit of 25% (min €125) of the holiday cost secures the booking. The remainder (75%) must be paid 21 days before arrival date.

We ask you to arrive after 3pm and leave before 10am on the day of departure, to allow sufficient time to clean the property properly.

Changeover day is usually Saturday, but out of peak season it may be possible to accommodate alternative days.
