Our apartment is situated within the Manilva Beach complex at the base of the Alboran Hills in Manilva, on the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain. The apartment is situated between Duquesa and Gibraltar approximately 60 minutes drive from Malaga Airport and 30 minutes from Gibralter Airport.
Located just a 5 minute walk from the beach with its chiringuito bars and just a short drive from the beautiful port of Duquesa with its shops and restaurants.
The Costa del Sol often referred to as Costa del Golf offers a paradise for golfers because of the abundance of golf courses. The nearest being Duquesa Golf & Country Club which is only a two minute drive away.
Completed in 2007, the apartment overlooks the large community swimming pool and benefits from a secure gated perimeter. It has private underground car parking where two lifts give access to all levels. It is Air Conditioned and furnished to a high standard..

The Costa del Sol region
One of the main reasons that the Costa del Sol has become a major tourism destination is its Mediterranean climate, with good weather right through the year, and a mean temperature of 18 degrees. The summer temperatures vary between 25 and 30 degrees, and in winter, they rarely drop below 14 degrees.
Rainfall in the province of Malaga has much to do with the mountainous landscape, and so it varies from area to area. The average rainfall on the coast is less than 500 mm each year, and in the interior, between 600 and 800 each year.
The overall climate of Malaga province allows for year-round tourism, while on the low-lying Costa del Sol, safe from the winds and rain of the higher interior and with sunshine for more than 300 days of the year, the weather is likely to be good at any time of the year.
The quiet beach of Aldea is just 150 metres away from the apartment. A footbridge gives access over the road to the beach. The Floria beach bar serves great food here. Don t let its looks put you off, its brilliant. The busier resort of Sabinillas is just a short 5 minute drive away.
The port of Duquesa with its bustling bars and restaurants is just a 5 minute drive away or 20 minute walk along the beach for the more energetic. For somewhere more quiet try the closer Castillo which is popular with the local Spanish.
The apartment is a 60 minute drive from Malaga airport, 30 minutes from Gibraltar. Puerto Banus is a 25 minute drive away
The Costa del Sol is famous for its golf courses and the most famous are located very close to my apartment. La Duquesa, San Roque, Sotogrande and Valderrama are all within 20 minutes drive.
There are lots of local attractions for the children, to mention just a few:
Selwo Estepona is fantastic, well worth a visit. Its a 10 minutes drive. In all, Selwo provides a unique and fantastic experience for the whole family. It is not a zoo! The animals are genuinely in almost natural habitats with sympathetic borders between them and the public.
A holiday in Marbella is not complete until you've visited at least one of its famous water parks!
Aqualand (Torremolinos) Water Park
Aqualand Torremolinos is the largest water park on the Costa del Sol, conveniently located just 10 minutes from the town centre & is a great day out for all the family!
Parque Acuatico Mijas Water Park (Mijas Costa)
The Parque Acuatico Mijas is a popular Costa del Sol water park conveniently located in the Mijas Costa area and just outside the town of Fuengirola.
Aqua Velis Water Park (Torre del Mar)
The Aqua Velis Water Park is one of the largest in the region. It is located on the Eastern side of the Costa del Sol on the road to Velis (from Malaga).
The biggest theme park on the Costa del Sol and really good fun for everyone. Over 20 rides from merry-go-rounds to Water Slide Rides.
There are kids shows, flamenco show, restaurants and gardens. A great family day out and open until 2:00 am in the summer!
