This is a beautifully furnished 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom ground floor apartment overlooking gardens and swimming pool on a popular new, prestigious development.
The apartment is fully air conditioned (both hot and cold to suit all seasons) with a south facing terrace. It has everything you will need for the perfect holiday including a fully equipped kitchen with separate laundry area and a spacious lounge/dining room with TV and a DVD/CD player.
The development is set in tropical landscaped gardens with six swimming pools and is close to a selection of excellent golf courses. There is also a clean sandy beach only 800m away with a superb beach bar and restaurant.
Casares del Sol is a quiet and relaxing location and you are only a short 5 minute drive from the small town of Sabinillas and the beautiful Puerto Duquesa Marina. Here you will find an excellent range of bars, restaurants and nightlife. The restaurants cater for all tastes, including seafood, steaks, Italian, Chinese and Indian cuisine.
Estepona and the picturesque hilltop village of Casares are just a short drive away and Puerto Banus and Marbella are both within easy reach for a day or night out.
There are several golf courses nearby including the Jack Nicklaus Golf Acadamy. Some of these are adjacent to this resort within easy walking distance. The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
There are many beautiful places to visit on the Costa Del Sol the most famous being Marbella and Puerto Banus that still attracts the rich and famous and is a very stylish retreat.
There are over 60 Golf Courses along the Costa Del Golf with Valderrama being the venue of the Ryder Cup in 1997 and voted one of the best courses in the world just minutes from Casares. With superb blue flag beaches all along the coast and fantastic marinas and restaurants you are spoilt for choice.
Casares Del Sol is situated between Estepona and Dequesa Marinas and is regarded as the best 'up and coming' area for holidaymakers and golfers in the South of Spain. The Port of Gibraltar is only 20 minutes away which offers tax free shopping and regular trips are available for any potential bargain hunters should you not have your own transport. Do not miss the cable car experience to the 'rock' for some amazing views and see the famous apes. You can even enjoy a 2 hour dolphin safari in the harbour. Remember to take your passport!
If its shops you want there is also a large area shopping Mall in La Linea near to Gibraltar, one in Estepona and a bigger one still just behind Marbella in a centre called La Canada and all within 20 minutes drive. Water sports are available on the beach most of the summer months and there is a water park nearby and Selwo Safari park near Estepona just a short distance away. The mountains behind the complex are a fantastic backdrop to the area and are given National Park Status and as such there are walking treks available for all distances that cater for people from 20 min walk to the more adventurous 2 hour trek. Bike rides from near the top of the mountain down to the bottom are available and offer quite breathtaking views and it is quite a pleasant trip. Casares Village is a 10 minute drive away and its a white village built on the side of a cliff with drops of 200-300 feet which has an old church at the top. Its about 400 years old and has a labyrinth of narrow streets and traditional spanish restaurants and bars. Its well worth a trip and the views are fantastic. There are many historic sites around the area dating back hundreds of years, so something for everyone.
The Costa Del Sol enjoys 320 days of sun each year due to its micro climate and this makes it perfect for all year round holidays. The climate is perfect in the winter months for the golf and lovely and hot in the summer for people who prefer the beach scene. There's also a mix of both in the early and late summer to have the best of both worlds, ie golf in the morning and chill out in the afternoons by the pool/beach.
Duquesa / Casares Del Sol area
The "Puerto de la Duquesa" is a beautiful quaint marina with over 300 berths and a variety of restaurants including French, Italian, English, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Irish and Spanish. Each side of the Marina are the superb blue flag beaches that cater for water sports in the summer. You will also find some shops and bars that offer all types of entertainment to cater for all tastes. Some bars have some some really nice singers and there are some night clubs should you fancy a dance and there are a couple of bars that have karaoke a couple of times per week. Theres also a selection of nice "chill out bars" with fantastic views over the marina. Slightly nearer to the apartment here is a 6 Star Hyatt Hotel under construction which further enhances the growing reputation that the area is getting on a daily basis.
Estepona is slightly bigger than Duquesa and offers even more restaurants and has nearby safari and water parks. Again each side of the Marina are fantastic beaches with the usual variety of activities. You will find weekly street markets at Estepona and Dequesa with a variety of goods on offer. There is also a weekly street market at Sabinillas which is very popular and is open every Sunday from 8am - 3pm and sells just about everything!
There are many festivals in Spain and as always are great fun and well worth getting involved. There is a huge variety of restaurants in Duquesa and we have not had a bad meal yet, they are all fantastic and range from traditional Spanish tapas to Chinese, from Italian to English fish & chips, there are also some excellent seafood restaurants and restaurants with superb international cuisine. Most people say dont eat Indian meals in Spain but "Passage to India" really is the exception. There is something for everyone in Duquesa and theres even a couple of fast food places that cater for burgers and kebabs.

Fly to Malaga airport (approximately 50 minutes drive-time away from Casares-del-Sol), with most airlines and budget airline companies
Fly to Gibraltar airport (approximately 30 minutes drive-time away from Casares-del-Sol), with BA or Monarch.

Directions from Malaga airport: - Take Highway AP7 Málaga – Estepona / Algeciras - Exit km 153 (3rd exit Estepona, polígono industrial) just before toll payment - At roundabout take A7 (N340) direction Algeciras (NOT direction Casares) - On the 4th roundabout turn right to Casares - After 700 metres turn right into Casares del Sol.

The lounge/dining room has a comfortable leather settee plus two leather arm chairs, a granite dining table seating 4 people. There is also a TV and a DVD/CD player for your entertainment - with a selection of music and films to enjoy.
Patio doors from the lounge lead on to the terrace which is south facing and enjoys the sun for most of the day. This is the perfect place to enjoy an early evening sundowner! The bedrooms have 4 single beds but the two in the master bedroom can be zipped together to provide a double bed if this is preferred. This arrangement provides the flexibility for a family or for four friends on a golfing break.
The development has 24 hour security and the apartment is fitted with a Video Porter entry system that enables you to view and speak to people outside the building before allowing them entry.
Further details outdoors: The south facing large terrace overlooks the gardens and swimming pool. It has a table and chairs perfect for your breakfast, lunch or an evening meal. A lift is situated directly outside the front door which takes you down to your designated secure underground parking place (key fob provided for the electric gates).
All areas are well lit at night.
Being brand new, the tropical gardens have yet to fully mature, so our prices currently shown reflect this.
This is a wonderful all year round destination and the apartment is ideally situated for exploring Gibraltar, Casares, Sotogrande, Ronda, Puerto Banus and Marbella. The Marinas of Duquesa and Estepona are only a short drive away and they both have an excellent selection of bars and restaurants and they both have weekly street markets. The area is packed with top class golf courses and blue flag beaches. A new 5 star aparthotel, restaurants, commercial centre and golf courses are being developed within a short distance of the development and this will provide further local facilities for visitors.
