Our apartment is situated within a private and beautiful complex that is within a short walking distance from the port and seafront, very near to Duquesa Golf and Country Club. Duquesa Regent has security gates, private undercover parking and the beautiful gardens are complete with a well maintained pool, Paddle Tennis Court and also a communual terrace.
It has a fully equipped kitchen, bath and shower rooms on en suite bedrooms, an 'L' shapped large terrace. The lounge area features large sofas, one of which is a very comfortable double sofa bed and it is very spacious.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The area offers all a wonderful all round year climate with a variety of wonderful sandy beaches on the doorstep Duqesa is within easy reach of numerous quaint mountainside Spanish Villages such as Casares.The Theme parks of Selwo Adventure, Marina and Tivoli World are an short ride away and there are also excellent Aqua Parks in Algerciras, Torremolinos and Fuengirola. The region is flush with fantastic golf courses accomodating various standards of golfing abilities. Most courses offer day passes and prices vary. The Marinas of Puerto Banus, Marbella, Duquesa and Sotto Grande are close distance where you can relax and marvel at the wonderful display of boats and yachts
Duquesa / Duquesa Regent area
Duquesa is described as a local secret as the port is friendly and unspoilt , quietly tucked away but within easy reach of numerous amenities. It is a pictaresque port offering regular boat and diving trips.The local town of Sabinilas offers a weekly market and a variety of local restaurants offering a variety of cuisines There are wide open beaches that are dotted with Chiringuitos, that are lively beach restaurants, offering quality but inexpensive food. La Duquesa Golf Course is within walking distance and is attached to a 4 star hotel and golf range. The Port offers numerous restaurants with a variety of cuisine and all are English speaking. Gibralter is a 20 minute drive away where you can shop for duty free and visit the Barbary Monkeys. There are local markets along the Costa Del Sol and the large indoor shopping mall, Parc du Canarda is about a 20 minute drive. Local transport is available and reliable throughout the region although car hire is simple to obtain and the preferred choice for most visitors
How to get there
The direct drive is approximetly 50 minutes from Malaga and 25 minutes from Gibraltar.
Car hire is available from both airports and recommended from a variety of companies from the airports. There are also many easily accessible taxis should you not wish to drive.

Further details indoors: Our property is a very private, larger than avergage apartment ,that is situated on the first floor of this beautiful complex. It is of very solid construction and of a design that has character, with tiled floors and of exceptional design. It is well maintained by our English speaking Spanish Agent and it is fully equipped in all areas. Each bedroom has en suite batrooms, with large wardrobes, very comfortable beds with linen supplied, and a security safe.
There are two TVs, one of which is Sky, a DVD player, and a CD stereo that is iPOD compatable. There are two large sofas, together with a dining room table that comes with six comfortable chairs, all of which are within the larger than average lounge area. The patio doors from this lounge area give access to the 'L' shaped terrace, that has sunbeds and a table and chairs within it. From this terrace area you will see the benefit from both and sun area, and from the enclosed spot that helps when its to hot, togtheter with seeing both the sea , hillside and pool/communual area views.
Further details outdoors: Our apartment is on the first floor of a unit within the complex, and it shares a lift with only the apartment next door on this floor. The communal areas are well maintained on a daily basis, and the complex is accessed via security gates. We have an allocated parking area directly beneath our apartment that allows easy access to it whilst in possession of lugage by utilising the lift, and it is very secure. The swimming pool is cleaned on a daily basis and provides areas of use for all ages. Sunbeds are also available in this location, and we also supply our own portable ones, that are for use in the pool area and the beach. There is also a floodlit padle tennis court that is fully enclosed, and also a BBQ terrace for communal use. within

Our apartment is managed by our English speaking agent within Duquesa who provide access to the keys, even after closing hours, a welcome pack and who also personally take you to the venue to ensure that you understand how to operate all the facilities, if you wish. They also operate a 24hour call out system that assists with peace of mind.
Conditions
On confirming a booking, a £150 deposit will be required, the balance being payable on eight weeks from the departure date to Duquesa.
