The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Andalucía is often regarded as the meeting point between Europe, Africa and the seas. The region is steeped in history and dominated by a mixture of cultures: Roman ruins, Moorish towers, Renaissance churches and Gothic monuments all bear witness to its colourful past. Here traditions are deeply rooted in everyday life as demonstrated by the many religious festivals held throughout the year.

The Costa del Sol is, of course, renowned for its golf courses and boasts an impressive range of courses designed to challenge the novice and the seasoned player alike. The privileged climate of the area makes golf enjoyable all year round. Valderrama, near Estepona, is the home of the Ryder Cup.

The numerous beaches range from the popular holiday beaches which are to be found around Marbella - with excellent water sports facilities including windsurfing and deep sea diving - to natural and less crowded beaches further along the coastline. Playa Guadalmina at San Pedro has many facilities and is only five kilometres from La Heredia, and of course La Bahía is situated between Playa Ancha and Playa la Paloma.

Some of the most exclusive shops in Spain are to be found in the 'jet set' towns of Marbella and Puerto Banús. San Pedro also offers excellent shopping and restaurants. Puerto Banús and Sotogrande attract the many luxurious yachts and boats which sail the Mediterranean, whilst Estepona still retains the magical charm of a traditional fishing village. In all these towns there is an abundance of the finest restaurants specialising in superb fresh seafood and delicious local cuisine.

Apart from golf, there are plenty of other activities: a first class equestrian centre in Estepona, numerous tennis courts at El Madroñal country Club, not far from La Heredia, aqua parks at Puerto Banús and Estepona, and a wonderful zoo and nature park at Selwo. There are fascinating museums, exposition centres and art galleries, particularly in Málaga, the birthplace of Picasso. Gibraltar is less than one hour's drive away and within two hours you can be skiing on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountains.


Duquesa / Marina Casares area

The villages of Sabinillas and El Castillo have a number of tapas bars plus superb seafood restaurents at very reasonable prices. Puerto Duquesa - a quaint port city with great nightlife and wonderful restaurants is just 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. A 20 minute drive takes you to the legendary nightlife of Puerto Banus or just 10 minutes to the discos of Estepona. Some of the best golf courses on the coast including Valderrama, Sotogrande, and Alcaldesa are within 20 kilometres of the Penthouse.

There is a great terrace off the lounge and the 1st bedroom that is equipped with a dining table, 6 chairs and a leather sofa ideal for relaxing.

Upstairs is a large roof terrace fully equipped with a BBQ , dining for 6 people and 6 sunloungers ideal for al fresco dining and enjoying the sunrise and sunset.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. The balance is payable 10 weeks prior to departure. The Penthouse is prepared/cleaned at start of your holiday, if you require extra cleaning or linen please mention when booking as this is extra.

Any changeover day is accepted and we will accommodate you at whatever time you wish to arrive and depart the accommodation. However in the busy times clients will have to adhere to a 10am check out and a 4pm check in to allow for the Penthouse to be cleaned.

Any changeover day is accepted, we are very flexible and we will accommodate you at whatever time you wish to arrive and depart the accommodation. (Please check this in peak season as this may not always be possible, if not check will be at 12 noon and arrival at 16.00).

A £250 security deposit is require for each booking taken and returned to you 7 days after your holiday.

Extras:

The accommodation sleeps 6 people but there is room for extra beds. If you require an extra bed it is charged at £70 p/w which includes linen. Other extras Cot £40 p/w High Chair £35 p/w

You are required to have appropriate travel and personal insurance. The owners cannot accept any liability for injury or loss of possessions during the period of their holiday. Jane, Pete and family say "The duplex is an amazing property with everything you could wish for, the grounds and swimming pools are absolutely beautiful and the complex is located right on the beach and very handy for all amenties.
There is a choice of 4 pools (2 of which are heated) and plenty of sunbeds. The property itself has been decorated to a very high standard with all mod cons and those little extras that make all the difference.
There were plenty of fresh towels provided for the bathrooms and clean linen. The view from both balcony's are stunning, best enjoyed with a cold beer in the evening. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone "
