Close to all amenities, Marbella for shopping is only 20 mins & Puerto Banus for a full night out until 7am. Estepona is the nearest town which has Port, restaurants & lovely long promenade too. 1 big communal swimming & another smaller for chilren. Underground remote control garage, elevator, good base for travelling around costa del Sol & Moorish towns, close to white wash villages, ideal for Golfers, banks, theme parks & more..

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Manilva is a quite area. The beach in this area is quiter compare to other parts of Costa del Sol coast. Marbella & all other attractions are not far away from this area. Like Sotogrande, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Ronda & Estepona. Malaga airport is only an hour away, Gibraltar is 25 mins. From the apartment beach this time of the year in November you can have a clear view of Africa and the rock of Gibraltar.
From April to end of October the water is warm to swim and the swimming pool. its sunshine all year round if its not raining. November to February is cold but very birght & sunny. Whole month of November you can still wear t-shirts.
Manilva - is a small village near the sea. This land is covered with vineyards since the sixteenth century. there are also areas devoted to grain, vegetables, fruit & pastures. It was Romans who left the most tangible traces of their culture, such as the Roman villa of Sabinillas.
Duquesa / Manilva area
Duquesa Port for restaurant and international cuisines, can hire sailing boats here. Lovely cafes beside the port at the promenade where you can sit down and enjoy the sunshine while watching the sailors. Horse riding is not far either Estepona or Sotogrande. For golfers, its just 5 mins drive from the apartment with mediterranean view or 30 -45 mins away to another 20 golf courses. Valderama which is famous for international golf championship is only 15 mins drive away. Estepona Golf has a lot to offer with free breakfast.
Gibraltar is a good place to do your duty free shopping & visits the monkeys on top of the rock. Estepona is 15 mins away has a long stretch of promenade with cafes..you must visit Istan too. Istan is framed by Sierra de las Nieves range that has been designated a Biosphere Reserve. Beautiful white village with lovely walks with view to cork oaks, Spanish firs & lakes. The walks are terraces.. Marbella is famous for its shopping, beach, nighlife, cycling along the promenade & the orange square..
While on holiday here you must experience the market days.. Estepona on Wednesdays, San Pedro on Thursday, Nueva Andalucia - San Pedro is worth a visit for the whole day as the market starts from the bullring all the way down to the lovely beach and port of puerto banus where lots of cafes and restaurants to sit down to eat or relax. But prices here is a little bit higher than Estepona.
Granada is only 2 hrs & 30 mins drive. Al Hambra in Granada is a must place to visit. During winter you can also ski at Sierra Nevada which is 3 hrs drive from the apartment. Tarifa 30-40 mins drive is famous for water sports like kite surfing, kayaking & sailing with lovely view of Africa.
How to get there
Location: 100 kms from Malaga Airport, 25 kms from Gibraltar Airport, Lots of budget airline flies to malaga like, Thomsonfly, easyjet, British airways, BMIbaby, Monarch Air, Ryan Air, Thomas Cook, Spanair, iberia, jet2.com, flybe, air france & lufthansa. These are flights coming from UK but there other flights coming from other countries too. By ferry: Santander or Bilbao is the main port which takes 9 hours drive from the port to Manilva. Algeciras port is only 20 mins if coming from Morocco.

Essential grocery shopping can be requested in advance. We live here so you can ask us any questions anytime during your stay. Keys can be hand over at the apartment or passby to our house for coffee and relax from your flight before going to the apartment. We are on the way if you are arriving in malaga airport or through ferries in Santander.
Wheel Chair can access to the apartment through elevator but very limited space.
