The complex itself is sympathetically Andalucian in style to maximise the benefits of the light and ambience of the area. There are swimming pools and beautifully landscaped gardens throughout that will appeal to both adults and children alike. The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Duquesa Village is located in the municipality of Manilva, at the western end of the Costa del Sol in the province of Malaga, Spain.

Manilva is a traditional village located in the hills behind Puerto Duquesa, an area that has always been dedicated to fishing and wine production giving rise to the “mosto” wine which is famous in the region. Today Manilva and Puerto Duquesa has been transformed into one of the most beautiful touristic locations on the Costa del Sol without losing any of the traditional charm. It has modern facilities with an abundance of restaurants, hotels, sporting activities, shops as well as sweeping beaches and challenging golf courses.

A short walk from Puerto Duquesa we find the village of Sabinillas, which is also part of the municipality of Manilva. Here we can find all the services you require such as medical centres, travel agencies, supermarkets and banks


Duquesa / Duquesa Village area

In one of the prime locations in Southern Spain with warm winters and cooling summer breezes, midway between Marbella and Gibraltar, you will find Puerto de la Duquesa, a beautiful marina nestled between 2 blue flag beaches - Just 1 KM from San Luis de Sabinillas. Quiet, non touristy but with a great variety of restaurants (including some awesome local fish restaurants in the adjacent fishing village of el castillo).

Although much quieter and more family orientated than the nearby harbours of Puerto Banus and Sotogrande there is still ample nightlife and local attractions to keep you busy.

The beautiful port of La Duquesa offers full marina services for boating enthusiasts as well as a myriad of attractions for those with no aspirations to take to the water. The attractive promenades encircling the port offer a variety of restaurants, intimate bars and cafés in which to while away the days. The vast choice of eating and drinking options include French, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai and, of course, Spanish with its fresh, local fish. Numerous services and grocers are also on hand.

Whether it's miles of pristine beaches (many earning the European Blue Flag for cleanliness) or rugged mountains with their wildlife, the La Duquesa area offers every type of terrain. Rising virtually from the beaches, the mountains hide their medieval towns like little jewels ­ the famed White Villages. Every type of nature recreation is at hand including even winter and spring skiing only two hours away in Granada.
