All marble floors with lifts or stairs to 3rd floor apartment with fantastic views over beach and landscape gardens. The apartment is also fully air conditioned and has a lounge area with satallite TV, DVD player and Hi Fi. There is also a fully fitted kitchen and laundry room. The private terrace overlooks the 2 fully serviced pools a lovely blue flag beach.
Perfectly situated by the sea and right by Duquesa Port with its many bars and restaurants, this luxurious 5 Star apartment has been designed to provide all the ingredients for a fantastic and stress free holiday. When you arrive at Marina de la Duquesa you are not on your own, you will be met and shown to the apartment or if it is out of hours the keys will be left in a safety deposit box.
Duquesa Port itself provides a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants and makes a great base from which to explore the famous white villages of Andalucia, Puerto Banus and Marbella (30 mins) or enjoy a game on one of the many golf courses.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol is one of Europe's top holiday destinations with average annual temperatures of 18ºC and over 300 days of sunshine per year. There are around 70 Costa del Sol golf courses on the "Costa del Golf" which can be played all year round as well as a whole range of other activities available such as sailing, scuba diving, horse riding, dolphin safaris, etc. The list is endless.
Away from the coast there are numerous excursions into the real Spain with the cities of Ronda, Seville, Cordoba and Granada all accessible for day tours. For the more adventurous you can also take a 15km trip across the Straits of Gibraltar to visit Tangier in Morocco.
Duquesa / Puerto de la Duquesa area
Puerto de la Duquesa is in the Manilva region of Andalucia and has been one of the Costa del Sols best kept secrets. Although within easy reach of the airports of Malaga (50 mins) and Gibraltar (25 mins). The apartment in in the Marina Real development which was completed in 2004 and is one of the newest developments in Duquesa. Its main appeal is its location, not only situated directly overlooking the beach but also along side Duquesa Marina. Shops, restaurants and bars are literally a minutes walk away and for the golf fantastic Duquesa Golf course club house is directly across the road.
There are two large communal swimming pools, jacuzzi bath and plenty of sun loungers set in well maintained tropical gardens. For long afternoon siestas there is a beach Chiringuito for relaxing drinks or lunch on the beach. There is 24 hour gated security and secure underground parking. Around the marina one can find a variety of water sport activities
How to get there
Malaga airport is a 50 minute drive on the motorway, Gibraltar airport is a 30 minute drive. From the airport you may choose to take a taxi to the apartment (approx 75 euros / £55 from Malaga or 40 euros / £30 from Gibraltar). Nearest railway station is at Estepona and buses run to most locations from Duquesa. Car hire is recommended as a means of both getting to and from the airport, but will be very useful for days out but not essential. Both Malaga and Gibraltar have very reasonable and good quality car hire where rates are very competitive. A list of directions to and from the airport can be provided.
