The new beach front apartment consists of 2 bedrooms , the master with king size bed is en-suite and the second bedroom has twin beds. Further accommodation consists of an additional shower room , fully fitted kitchen, utility room, lounge/diner and terrace. The lounge has satellite TV that receives all the english channels a DVD & CD player. The apartment has a full air con/ heating system with digital temp control. There is a safe in the master bedroom.

Duquese is central to many attractions and activities , a few of which are listed below.
Gibraltar Probably the most obvious place to visit on a day excursion. With its historic connections and famous colony of Barbary apes Gibraltar is a short drive away, the duty free bargains are hard to resist but be careful what you bring back as cars are thoroughly searched at the border.
Morocco Day trips to Morocco make an exciting and memorable day excursion for foot or car passengers, the 90 minute cruise from Algeciras to Tangier gives you a fascinating glimpse of north Africa.
Ronda Ronda (one of the regions famed "white Villages" is one of the oldest and most picturesque towns in Spain. Nestling high in the mountains it is about 50Km inland from Duquesa and well worth a visit to discover its abundance of Moorish architecture and history. The towns most dramatic feature is its ravine, 360ft deep and 210 ft wide spanned by the Puente Nuevo bridge , not recommended for anybody who suffers from vertigo. Marbella and Puerto Banus
These twin resorts are Spain's answer to Saint Tropez, the marinas are full of huge flashy Yachts and people to match! A place to rub shoulders with the rich and the famous, and at around 30 minutes drive from Duquesa worth a half day just to check out how the other half live.
Estepona A thriving fishing village just 10 minutes drive from Duquesa, this is a place where the Spanish holiday, it has a lovely promenade and a good selection of restaurants. Casares
Another of the famous "white villages, this time just 10 minutes drive from Duquesa with lots of interesting little streets and an impressive Moorish castle.
Selwo National Park A great day out for adults and children alike . Just 20 minutes drive from Duquesa Selwo is an adventure into the world of nature where animals co-exist in semi wild conditions.

Puerto de la Duquesa is widely quoted as the Costa del Sol's best-kept secret. Although within easy reach of the airports of Malaga (50 minutes) and Gibraltar (30 minutes), La Duquesa seems like an oasis of calm far from the high rise apartments and crowds of other holiday resorts and offers an glimpse of real life in Southern Spain. For those wishing to cater for themselves there are local grocery stores and of course fishermen who will always be willing to sell you something for that special dinner in the apartment. .
Duquesa Golf is 200m away and there are a further 10 championship courses (including Valderama) within 30 minutes drive.

Further details indoors: The apartment is under 24 hour manned security, entrance to the garage is by remote control zapper that is provided with your keys. A lift connects the apartment with the underground car park and the lobby, the apartment is wheelchair accessable but space around the beds is limited. The apartment is South West facing and receives the sun virtually all day. There is a locker to store golf clubs etc. .
