Home description

Bellavista de Princesa Kristina is a five minute drive from Puerto Duquesa. This small gated select development has a large adult pool, a good size kiddies pool and a paddel tennis court. It is a wonderful place to relax yet within a few kilometres you can enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere in Puerto Banus, visit the ancient town of Ronda, find a tapas bar, relax on the beach, play golf, visit Tarifa, day trip to Africa, duty free shopping in Gibraltar, or just sit and watch the sea!

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

This southern part of the Costa Del Sol has retained its Spanish charm. A short drive to Manilva or a wander around Sabinillas will reassure visitors that they are still very much in Spain. The weather is stunning with almost guaranteed sun for most of the year. We have sunbathed in February! The area is a golfers paradise and Bellavista is the perfect base to explore the Andalucian countryside. It offers peace and tranquillity to couples and families alike, yet the nightlife of Puerto Duquesa, Puerto Banus and Marbella beckons, should you so wish.


Duquesa / Princesa Kristina area

The championship Duquesa Golf and Country Club is nearby offering both pros and novice players a chance to play on a course which has stunning views over the Med, towards North Africa and Gib. Sotogrande and Valderama are just ten minutes drive away.

For pampering, there are two luxurious spas within a few minutes drive. Water sports, horseriding, and dolphin watching (from Gibraltar), as well as wind and kite surfing at the windy beach of Tarifa, about 35 minutes drive away. Scuba diving is also available along the coast.

There is a waterpark at Mijas, again, not far from Bellavista and fishing and sea trips are available locally.


How to get there

Our apartment is 25 minutes from Gibraltar Airport and about an hour from Malaga. We are also within reasonable distance of Jerez airport (about an hour and a half - and a very good road). Ryanair fly from Stansted to Jerez and are competitively priced.

There is a kingsized bed in the master bedroom, as well as a small dressing area with mirror fronted wardrobes. Marble floors throughout. Large TV with dvd and a selection of dvds to watch. Sky freeview, receiving major UK tv channels. Leather furniture, extremely well fitted kitchen with large fridge freezer. Local Managing Agent nearby. This ground floor apartment has 105 sq. metres of living space as well as a large terrace and garden. Secure underground car park with lift.

Further details outdoors:
The communal gardens are well landscaped, dotted with umbrellas, and equipped with comfortable loungers. The pool area is well maintained, with poolside showers, and a terraced upper garden in which to relax. The small private garden has an outside table, chairs and parasol, a bbq, loungers and a magnificent sea view. We have recently improved the lighting in this area so that on balmy evenings you can sit outside and watch the moon twinkling on the water.

We require a £150 deposit against breakages, which is, of course, refundable.
