About the home

Our holiday home from home is a stylish, newly built 1st floor apartment with stunning views, from a large tranquil balcony, over Duquesa Golf Course to the sea. Within walking distance to the beautiful port of Duquesa, the Spanish town of Sabinillas and local blue flag beaches.

Coto Real is a secure gated development with several communal pools, splash pools for the younger children and landscaped gardens.

For those seeking a relaxing family holiday Coto Real is the perfect location but is still within easy reach of all the local amenities, bars and restaurants. A drive of 10 minutes and you can be in Estepona, another 15 minutes and you are in Puerto Banus and Marbella. Gibraltar is only half an hour in the opposite direction.

This area lives up to its name of Costa del Golf with 5 local courses and many more just a short drive away.

The master bedroom has a double bed with built in wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and overhead shower, wash basin, bidet and wc. Patio doors provide direct access onto the balcony.

Bedroom 2 has two single beds with built in wardrobes.

The family bathroom has a fitted bath with overhead shower, wash basin, and wc.

The kitchen is fully fitted to a high standard with granite work tops, fridge/freezer, electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher, kettle and toaster.

There is a utility room with a washing machine, clothes drier, iron and ironing board.

The living room constitutes a lounge/dining area with a leather sofa, arm chair, dining table and chairs, television and a DVD player.

Air conditioning /heating

Outside on the large balcony you will find a table and 4 chairs along with 2 sun loungers. Here you can relax in peace and tranquillity with views overlooking the golf course down to the sea.

The complex at Coto Real has several pools and splash pools, any of which you can use. There is also a padel tennis court.

Whilst this is a 1st floor apartment there is direct access and as such you do not need to use either the stairs or lift when entering or leaving.

The price of your rental includes Meet and Greet by the local representative.

The apartment will be clean and ready for your arrival with freshly made beds and towels provided. Beach towels are not provided please make sure you bring your own. A mid stay clean and change of linen for 2 week bookings or longer can be arranged. This is chargeable and is dependent on the number of guests.

Highchair and cot hire are available upon request at an extra cost per week.

Flexible changeover dates.

Conditions

20% of the rental is held as a deposit to secure the dates of your reservation. In the event of cancellation this deposit will be non-refundable.

The balance of the rental is due 8 weeks prior to departure, or earlier. If booking less than 8 weeks before departure full payment is required at the time of booking.

Please note a payment of £100 is required with your final balance as security in case of damages during your stay and subject to a satisfactory post departure check this will be refunded to you within 14 days of your return.

Absolutely no pets allowed.

Strictly no smoking in the apartment. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony.

The Costa del Sol region

With year round sunshine the Costa Del Sol is the ideal destination of choice for all holiday makers, perfect for families, couples and golfers alike.

Duquesa is the perfect base for exploring this area of Andalucia, from Marbella and Puerto Banus with their marinas and chic designer shops down to Gibraltar with its duty free shopping, Barbary apes and fantastic views from the top of the rock.

Inland from the coast there are several white villages such as Casares, Jimena and Benahavis. Here you can enjoy the leisurely pace of Spanish life and sample delightful fresh tapas in the local bars and restaurants. Well worth a visit.

For the more adventurous why not visit Grenada and the Alhambra Palace, Rhonda with its famous gorge or take a ferry across the Straits of Gibraltar and spend a day in Morocco.

The Duquesa / Coto Real Duquesa Golf area

A short walk from the apartment takes you down to Duquesa marina, the best kept secret of the Costa del Sol. The marina, home to a variety of shops, bars and family friendly restaurants to tempt any palate, is the ideal spot to watch the world go by over a coffee and croissant whilst soaking up the relaxing atmosphere.

On either side of the marina are extensive, child friendly, un-crowded blue flag beaches on which chiringuitos (beach bars) serve local seafood, cold beer and where you can hire a sun lounger for your day by the Mediterranean

Take a short ten minute drive along the coast and you will arrive at Estepona, a resort with something for everyone. The charm of the old town with cobbled streets and tapas bars, a modern promenade and beach and the marina which is host to a local market on Sundays.
Duquesa and the adjoining Spanish town of Sabinillas are very family orientated with numerous parks and play areas for children of all ages.

With five golf courses, Duquesa, Dona Julia, Casares Costa Golf, Finca Cortesin and Estepona all within a ten minute drive golfers are spoilt for choice. Other activities readily available include sailing, walking, horse riding, wind surfing and diving.
