Mikonos Playa is a perfect holiday home destination; our newly refurbished apartment has a fresh modern appearance which is ideal for families or couples retreats. The property boasts all day sun due to the south east facing position in which the Sun terrace captures a great view of the local surroundings, which is relaxing and tranquil. All Amenities are within 2 minutes walking distance of the local Marina that portrays a peaceful and serine location, which consists of many restaurants, shops and bars which cater to everyone’s tastes.
Duquesa is surrounded by quaint and idyllic landscape, in which visitors can enjoy fantastic views. For entertainment the Marina is not short of bars or restaurants but you can also partake in some relaxing fishing and enjoy the therapeutic sounds of the sea crashing against the rocks. However if you don't want to partake in fishing there are many other activities to keep you entertained. Spain is renown for its fabulous golf courses and Duquesa has a variety of courses for your enjoyment all within a 10 minute walk.
The sun terrace and pool area is above ground level and is only accessible to residents, this therefore makes it relaxing and private, in which families can be safe in knowledge that the children will be safe in the complex as no one can enter, similarly the swimming pool is shared between all residents and has different depths which is also convenient for families with smaller children.

Booking is completing by e-mailing the owner, the date availability will then be held whilst flights are booked, a simple booking form is then completed by the guests and a deposit of 40% is taken, full payment is made with in 5 weeks of departure along with a £100 deposit for lost keys and damage, which is refunded upon your return once the maid has cleaned the apartment and checked that no damage has occurred (excluding wear and tear) and all keys are returned .
You will be met at the apartment and given the keys and a tour so you're fully able to understand its facilities and ask any questions you may have.

The Costa del Sol is an area in the south of Spain that benefits from fantastic Mediterranean weather, with average summer temperatures exceeding 25 degrees and August temperatures regularly exceeding 35 degrees. The weather along the coastline has more than 300 cloudless days a year and sunny for most of the day. The coastline is full of natural beaches with huge expanses of golden sand.
The Duquesa / Puerto de la Duquesa area
Puerto de la duquesa is in a great location, to the west of Marbella. This part of the Costa has only limited and well-managed development, which means it has kept much of its unspoilt scenery and local character. This has resulted in an excellent quality of life, with relaxed living, but still having easy access to all the amenities you could wish for.
The beautiful beaches are clean and not commercialised. The sea is calm and suitable for swimming. Duquesa Port has a large number of varied bars and restaurants, which open late into the night - many host live music too. The port is a hive of activity every night of the week.
There are several open air markets in local towns on different days of the week. Sabinillas has a lovely beach, promenade and a children's play area. Estepona has a Carrefour hypermarket - the best place for buying groceries, alcohol and hardware at reasonable prices. Here you'll also find an equestrian show, featuring the famous Andalucian Horses.
You can take a dolphin safari from Gibraltar, or visit a casino in Marbella, Puerto Banus or Gibraltar. A fantastic day out for all ages is the Selwo National Park near Estepona, where animals of the five continents live together in semi-wild conditions - highly recommended.

Mikonos Playa is located in Puerto de Duquesa, 10 minute walk from Sabinillas and approximately 15 minute drive from Estepona along the Cost del Sol.
Local Airports include Gibraltar which is only 25 minutes drive away Malaga 50 minutes each way.
There are many lowcost airlines operating into Malaga and Gibraltar, Such as Ryanair, BMI Baby and Easyjet into Malaga.
Car Hire is not necessary once you arrive in Duquesa as there are many amenities within walking distance nearby. However, we do recommend Car Hire to get the most out of your holiday as there is so much to do and see within a short drive away.
