There are a few apartments for rent in the SURROUNDING area, most of them DO NOT offer this view, but, all boasts the harbour, now you have the opportunity to sit on the balcony and enjoy the splendour of overlooking the marina.
Sleeps 6 this apartment is situated in the heart of this exclusive marina, as you can see from the photos breath taking views over the harbour and beyond to the beach. Patio door from the lounge leads you on to the balcony that overlooks the marina. It’s wonderful watching the boats coming and going and if you love people watching, this is the place for you. The lit-up marina at night is also a splendour (our main photo).

LA DUQUESA GOLF what about our own La Duquesa golf another typical Robert Trent Jones course, while challenging to the low handicap golfer, it remains friendly to the higher handicap player.This course requires straight accurate driver and the undulating greens area test of every golfer’s skill. 18 hole par 72 length 5575mt. La Duquesa winds round El Hacho beacon hill with magnificent views over the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and to Africa. The course is a short 3 minute drive from the apartment.
ESTEPONA Estepona Golf is set inland and on a hilly terrain. Although the course has wide fairways, it is still a good test for all levels of golfers. Estepona Golf is only a 10 minute drive from the apartment.
SOTOGRANDE Often voted amongst the top 10 courses in Europe. Sotogrande opened in 1964. It's 18 manicured holes, designed by Robert Trent Jones, have established trees of oak, pine, eucalyptus and palm. Water also plays an important part, affecting play on the majority of the back nine. Again the course is a short drive from the apartment.
The three courses above are all within minutes of the apartment.
VALDERRAMA Home to the 1997 Ryder Cup and host in November '99 to the World Golf Championships, Valderrama is rated as Europe's No 1 course, and is one of it's toughest challenges. Immaculate fairways, notoriously difficult par 5s, super fast greens, everything about this course is stunning. Booking is difficult as tee times are very limited.10 min Drive away from Apt
MARBELLA At 6500m from the back tees, Marbella Golf is a long course and as you would expect, some brave tee shots are required to achieve par. A Robert Trent Jones designed course, ravines and gullies catch the poor drive on the opening holes. The par 3 fourth in particular is just tee to green. Challenging, enjoyable golf. 15min away from Apt.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Estepona is a large coastal town well known for having kept its Spanish charm and character, yet also has an abundance of bars, restaurants, and shops.
La Rada beach, the town’s most popular beach which is 2.6km long and has an attractive promenade alongside. Located throughout are Chiringuitos (beach bars), which serve traditional tapas, or a choice of cosmopolitan style dishes. Located at the west end of La Rada beach is the marina.
Puerto Banus is similar to La Duquesa, but on a larger scale in both size of port and marine craft. The Playa Levante beach lies north of the town and holds a European blue flag. The beach is long, wide and clean and offers all the usual facilites.
The port is a shopper’s dream during the daytime with some of the most famous fashion houses, vibrant shops and boutiques. Puerto Banus becomes a lively cosmopolitan port in the evening, with an abundance of bars and clubs to suit all tastes.
Puerto Banuse, Marbella and Gibraltar are all within easy reach of the apartment, all within 1/2hr drive. This makes the Apartment the perfect holiday base for the Costa del Sol.
Duquesa / Puerto de la Duquesa area

The property at La Duquesa exceeded our expectations, made all the better by the lovely end of September weather. We were a group of three golfers (loosely speaking) and found the location ideal for accessing the many courses in the area. The apartment was spot-on - great for people watching and ideally situated near to the shops and restaurants of the port. In summary, a great apartment ideal for our requirements and I would not hesitate in recommending it and the villarenters system to any prospective tenants. I'll be hopefully going back as soon as possible with family and friends. Thanks!"
YEP!! definitely worth going back - the apartment was spotless - the weather was a bit cool especially at night so we did have to use the heaters and they were OK. We had a good time. Hope to be booking again soon for another week. visited November

What can I say,It has been a fantastic holiday one of the best 100%. The apt is much bigger than we thought, very clean and modern we needed for nothing,there are to many restaurant to mention and all have fab food,the view from the balcony is fantastic. This was our first time in duquesa,we are very envious of the owners,the position was a1++, this apt is large and very good value,the decor is modern and clean,we enjoyed the beach, bars & restaurants plenty on offer for all ages,and most importantly no need for a car in the evening,the view from the balcony is wonderful and at night most relaxing when lit up,we will defanatly recommend to family & friends,its also a good place for a long weekend on our own, dont hesitate in booking this apartment its as advertised & worth it. We have just returned home from the lovely Spanish abode of the `Welsh Angel`. Noticed a few additions to the apt. which just added to it`s charm. Very welcoming and comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had an anniversary meal in Il Capitano Ristorante which was excellent and also put on a few pounds at the Spanish run chirinquito on the local beach. Duqeusa is a lovely place to either sit and watch the world go by or eat great food and drink good wine till you are fit to burst. We love it. Thanks Pat!"
"We have just spent 22nd May to 5th June in Pats great apartment. It is lovely. Pat is without a doubt the best and most helpful owner I have ever dealt with. We go away three or four times a year to Spain and used to own a house in Brittany so we know there can be pitfalls. Pat has refined being hospitable to an art. We were very comfortable thoughout our visit. The view from the balcony is better than anyone could believe. The day before we left Pat sent a complete programme for a week long festival based in the nearby castle and on the Saturday and Sunday in the harbour. This was in the first week of our holiday and it was fantastic. Twelve countries represented in the region took part each with a large marque specially erected at the harbour. Masses of free food particular to the country was given away together with free drinks. The Scots and English gave away free whiskey all afternoon. During the evening entertainment took place on a large stage just to the left of the veranda. It was very professional and we had a grandstand view. Try to see it next year its marvellous.
