This is a fantastic 3 bed house within a quiet gated community of just 13 properties, just a 20-25 minute walk/3 minute drive to beaches,numerous restaurants,supermarkets and one of the nicest marinas in Spain.The property overlooks Duquesa golf course so has fantastic views from bedrooms and patio.There is also a distant sea view.Each bedroom has it's own terrace- ideal for al fresco breakfasts and afternoon gin and tonics!
Two of the bedrooms have kingsize double beds and fitted wardrobes and the third bedroom has 2 single beds.There are 3 brand new bath/shower rooms(one en suite).Downstairs is a large lounge/ dining room which leads out onto a private sunny patio area complete with barbecue and dining table.
The patio backs onto beautiful private gardens and the immaculate pool is only 10 yards from the patio area.Sun loungers are provided.The modern fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the lounge.The property has been refurbished in 2011 and has new furnishings throughout as well as a 32" LCD tv.
The port of Duquesa has a large selection of restaurants and bars to choose from.Just a short stroll from Duquesa is the traditional Spanish village of Castillo which has some lovely 'local' restaurants.In the opposite direction and just a 15 minute walk from Duquesa is the traditional Spanish town of Sabinillas.There is a lovely beach here with some very good quality, well priced restaurants along the sea front.A little further afield(25 minute drive)is the millionaires playground of Puerto Banus and Marbella.
For golf enthusiasts there are numerous courses to choose from.The house backs onto Duquesa golf course which is a very reasonably priced Robert Trent Jones design.There is also a lovely clubhouse/hotel here which is a nice place to have a drink or a bite to eat. Within a 10 minute drive are Sotogrande,San Roque,Estepona and Valderama(Europe's number 1 course).Should you fancy a taste of England then Gibraltar is only a 25 minute drive(don't forget your passports) and is well worth a day trip.

Unlike some other parts of the Costa Del Sol Duquesa has not been adversely affected by mass tourism and cheap package holidays.Often called the Costa Del Sols 'best kep secret', Duquesa's focal point is it's superb Marina.If you fancy a boat trip trip this is the place for you. There are some lovely restaurants and bars in Duquesa as well as two blue flag beaches with their own high quality beach bars.There is plenty to do in and around Duquesa:-
-Take a short drive to the beautiful Andalucian town of Casares
-Visit the local markets for a guaranteed bargain
- Take a cable car ride to see the Barbary apes in Gibraltar. If you are missing England then enjoy shops such as Marks and Spencers.
- Take the kids to Selwo safari park or one of the water parks along the coast
- Mingle with the rich and famous in nearby Puerto Banus
- Play one of the many world class golf courses nearby
- Spend some time exploring nearby Estepona with it's lovely Spanish backstreets and traditional squares.

There are numerous flights to Malaga from all UK airports.Easy Jet, British Airways and Ryanair have daily flights.Malaga airport is 95km from the house and is virtually 'door to door' motorway.The journey takes 55 minutes.There are also regular flights to Gibraltar airport which is 30 minutes from the house.Jerez airport is 85 minutes away.There are several car hire companies to choose from however we normally use Patry Car without any problems.

My wife and I first stayed here in may of this year and enjoyed it so much we returned for another week in July. The house was just perfect for us- quiet but close to all the action, lovely private patio and only 15 yards from a great pool that may as well have been our own private pool as nobody else seemed to use it. The property is one of only maybe 12 properties, all of which are immaculate. The house backs onto beautiful gardens and the Duquesa golf course. We went out to Duquesa several times, the port is one of the best we have seen.Having said that we were just as happy staying in and barbecuing on the terrace. would recommend this to families and anyone who wants to stay in a great property that affords peace and quiet but is within easy reach(we walked it in 25 minutes) of bars, restaurants and the beach.
