About the home
A wonderful, luxury, 5 star apartment, set in beautiful, well kept, grounds with a very large swimming pool, with lifeguard and right on the beach. Very safe for children, as the complex is a gated community with 24 hour security. The apartment has everything you need for a fantastic holiday (sky tv, dvd player, washing m/c, dishwasher, microwave, ensuite etc). 20 mins drive to Puerto Banus / Marbella. All major golf courses within 15 mins, San Roque, Valderrama, Sotogrande, etc. Two large supermarkets within 5 minutes walk plus fish and chip shop if you miss home comforts. Chiringuitos on the beach are fantastic for lunch or a drink, one serves sardines fresh from the barbeque, if you don't want to go to the port until the evening or if you are on a budget, there is a coolbox, so you can make your own lunch or eat al fresco on the balcony overlooking the gardens, pool and beach. Two padded cushions to make your poolside sunbeds more comfortable are available.
The price includes cleaning upon departure and a small welcome pack including water, tea, coffee, milk and toilet rolls and soap. Freshly laundered towels and sheets, changed each full week of your stay. Private transport arranged if required for airport pickups and return in a seven seater car with English driver. 90 euros each way to Malaga (for four) 60 euros each way to Gibraltar ( for four) slightly more for 5 or 6 passengers. No need for a hire car unless you want to, as everything is within walking distance and geared up for a totally chill out holiday. Allocated underground parking if you do want to drive, with a lift to the apartment. Next to a small castle and the Church in the Pueblo nearby. The apartment has air conditioning.

Duquesa has a wonderful climate with an average of 335 days of sunshine per year. Long a favourite destination, the Costa del Sol offers clean beaches and unbeatable sunshine. Torremolinos attracts a younger crowd, with sweeping beaches, shopping centres and thriving discos. Fuengirola is more family-friendly. There are plenty of watersports on offer, and pedal-boats for the family to enjoy.
Malaga offers more relaxed attractions such as Picasso’s birthplace and some of the best fish and seafood restaurants in the region, it also has a lively nightlife. Nerja boasts quieter coves within walking distance of its busier beaches. The town’s main attraction is the Cuevas de Nerja, a series of caverns which contain the world’s largest stalactite. Away from the coast lie the prehistoric dolmen caves at Antequera and the magnificent limestone gorge near El Chorro....
The Duquesa / Los Granados II area
Duquesa is a fabulous area having everything you need for a perfect holiday, without the need to drive. Pool, beach, bars, restaurants, all on your doorstep. However, if you want to explore the area, there are some great places to go, Duquesa Castle, Casares, Puerto Banus, Marbella and Gibraltar, all within a 25min drive.
