A stunning Andalucian style penthouse apartment with magnificent sea views beyond Estepona to the East and towards Gibraltar in the West from two of the three spacious private terraces. The elegant port of La Duquesa is a short drive or 30 minute walk along the sandy beach with lots of bars, restaurants, boutiques and bustling nightlife. Beautiful sandy beaches just 400 metres away and multiple chiringuitos (beachside restaurants) are easily accessible. Our apartment offers space, beauty and tranquility with golf, diving, water skiing, deep sea fishing, boat charter and sailing all available locally.

Fully equipped with electric oven, grill, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board. All crockery, cutlery and utensils provided.
Lounge area includes 2 double sofas, rosewood coffee and side tables, TV/DVD player. Dining area includes large rosewood dining table with seating for 6 and sideboard. Both have large sliding glass doors to main private terrace with panoramic sea views.
The living room television has Sky free view including BBC1 BBC2 ITV CHANNEL 4+5.
Bed linen and bath towels are provided. The duplex is fully cleaned before each rental period. Beach towels are not provided. Bath towels must not be used outside the duplex.

Important notes on accommodation
The duplex is fully fitted with air-conditioning and heating. There are two ceiling fans in the main living areas. There is private underground garage car parking. A travel cot is available if required (all bedding supplied). Full security gated development with telephone intercom access, apartment and development is very secure.
Negotiable. Why not take advantage of cheaper midweek flights? Checkout time is 10am. Earliest check-in time 2pm. The duplex is fully cleaned before each rental - all bed linen and bath towels provided (beach towels are not).
A 20% deposit is required at time of booking. Balance payment is due 6 weeks prior to start of rental period. A refundable breakage deposit of £150 is required with balance payment. Minimum rental is 1 week in high season (Saturday - Saturday) but if you wish for alternative changeover days, please ask.

Malaga used to be seen at the poorer cousin to Seville but this has changed. Malaga is steeped in history, culture and elegance. So much so that in 2016 Malaga will be the European City of Culture. The famous Museo de Picasso is one of many fabulous attractions that are a well worth a visit. There is also the imposing Baroque Cathedral, popularly known as 'La Manquita' (One Armed Woman), referring to its rather lopsided appearance due to the missing east bell tower.
The Costa del Sol typically enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year. The summer months are very hot and the winters warm and mild but what ever month you visit you are virtually guaranteed some sunshine!
For those who like golf the choice of courses is abundant. From the championship course of Valderrama to the Jack Nicklaus academy at Finca Cortesin where the world match play is held, there is a course to suit everyone and every budget.
The penthouse is only 500m from the nearest blue flag beach, Casares bay. This beach is long and sweeping and is perfect for taking eveing strolls into Puerta de la Duquesa. There is a popular beachside fish restaurant which is serves fresh local catch. Even in the height of summer the beach is relatively quiet. Estepona beach (a few minutes drive away) has fantastic shallow waters which is ideal for those with children or even grown ups who like to 'plodge'.
This penthouse is in a perfect location for families and golfers. Everything you need is only a stones throw away. With plenty to do for children, and a host of beautiful restuarants, bars and shops, you are sure never to be bored. The area is perfect those who just want to chill out or for the more active holidaymaker the area is perfect for walking, hiking, cycling and climbing (nearby mountain Sierra Bermeja will keep you entertained!)
Sabinillas is predominantly a market town just a couple of minutes drive (1km) from the apartment. Here you will find everything you need for your stay, supermarkets, banks,bars, restaurant and Cafes. There is a street market every Friday and a massive local market every Sunday in nearby Manilva. The beach at Sabinillas is fabulous and littered every hundred metres or so are wooden climbing/play frames with swings etc for children. There are numerous restaurants and tapas bars along the sea front, catering for all tastes - Italian, Argentinian, American and Spanish (to name but a few) and for those of you who can't leave the UK behind there is even a place that serves a good old english breakfast.
Puerto de la Duquesa
A charming port only 2kms away with a wide variety of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. The port was once
described as the next Puerto Banus but thankfully it has retained all of its charm and quiet environment. The port is flanked by two very long, sandy beaches, one running to the west towards Sotogrande and Gibraltar, the other to the east, past the apartment and onto Estepona.
There is nothing nicer than popping into Duquesa in the early evening and watching the world go by as you sip your tipple of choice in one of the fabulous port side cafes and bars. The sunsets here are glorious. Then when you can drag yourself away from the view you can make the hard decision of where and what to eat. Like Sabinillas, Duquesa has a huge choice of restaurants - Indian, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, English, Spanish....
There is also a small selection of exclusive boutiques in the Port.
The white 'Chocolate Box' village of Casares is nestled into the hillside approximately 4 kms from the penthouse. As you approach in the car the views will take your breath away. Being away from the hustle and bustle of the busier locations, Casares gives you peace and tranquility, you will also find that your Euro will go much futher here!
Estepona has maintained its Spanish roots despite being a popular tourist destination. There are shops, bars, restaurants and tapas bars to suit every taste. The area is also famous for its leisure and cultural activities.
The numerous street cafes and tapas bars still serve traditional Spanish delicacies and cobbled, narrow streets seem more suited to horses than cars. You'll also find unusual shops and bodegas in Estepona, where you'd least expect them, all very inviting and very friendly.

The apartment is nestled between several superb golf courses including Dona Julia and the new championship course Finca Cortesin which is a spectacular 18 hole, 7,000 metre course, plus a Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy.
The best sandy beaches are within 400m a short 5 minute stroll away with beach chiringuitos serving fresh local foods. Duquesa Marina is bustling with life all day long with waterside bars and cafes open all day. It also hosts a variety of restaurants.
There are numerous golf courses near by including the world famous Valderama 10 minutes drive away.
