This front line beach apartment is on the ground floor at the front of the complex, 5 metres to the swimming pool and 30 metres to the blue flag sandy beach. It is in a fantastic location next to the port of Duquesa so no taxi's !
Great for Families and OAP's : The apartment is just 2 mins walk from Duquesa Port with its bars and restaurants. There is allocated secure underground parking with lift access. The apartment is ideal for families and OAP's as it is ground floor, has good access to the underground car park via lifts very near to the apartment. It has 2 bathrooms, the second is a shower room which is ideal for OAP's.
The private gated patio leads directly onto the grass gardens and main swimming. The ground floor location is in an ideal area for families as you can relax knowing your children are in clear view. There is a life guard at the pool and the complex has 24 hour security with cameras.
The apartment is beautifully furnished with two bedrooms, master with en-suite and family with shower room. The kitchen and separate laundry room overlooking the main pool. The sitting room has sky tv, DVD and sterio all overlooking the pool. The apartment is fully air-conditioned / heated with marble floors throughout.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
There are markets in many towns nearby. Watersports are available high season on some beaches. Duquesa's golf and country club is a championship 18 hole Robert Trent Jones course is 400m away and overlooks the Mediterranean with views out to North Africa and Gibraltar. The apartment is in a great location for golfers with more than 40 golf courses along the 'Costa del Golf.' Valderrama, Sotogrande, Los Arqueros and Monte Mayor and many more within a 40 minute drive. There are plenty of beautiful places to visit in Andalucia. Marbella, Puerto Banus, San Pedro, The white villages and Ronda . Puerto Banus attracts the rich and famous and is nice place to have a meal and people watch. Marbella is around 30 minutes, Banus is 20 mins from La Duquesa. Granada is about 2 hours drive away and Seville 2.5 hours.
Duquesa / Puerto de la Duquesa area
The Marina de la Duquesa complex is in a quiet area on the seafront but only a minute from the marina and port area of Puerto de la Duquesa. There you will find numerous bars and Restaurants include cuisine from France, Italy, Thailand, China, India, Great Britain. The marina has more than 300 berths. There are no high rise hotels here to spoil the view. The blue flag beach stretches as far as Sabanillas and on to Estepona. In the opposite direction south you will find Sotogrande. The waterfront is closed to traffic making it very safe for children. Estepona is a pleasant seaside town with many shops and restaurants. There is a lovely promenade and a huge Carrefour supermarket if you are self catering. There is a market on a Wednesday with a good choice of local produce. In the hills behind Estepona is a safari park called Selwo that comes highly recommended. Allow at least half a day. Other family attractions include water and theme parks 40 mins away.
How to get there
Fly to Malaga or Gibraltar and take a car or a taxi along the costal motorway to Duquesa. One hour's easy drive from Malaga or 25 minutes from Gibraltar.

Deposits and payment :
A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% is taken at the time of booking. The balance is payable in cash euros on arrival when the keys are collected. We also take a 100 euro cash deposit on arrival at the apartment to cover any damage to the apartment,this will be refunded when you leave once the apartment has been checked. If the keys are lost or the electric gate opener is broken a payment of 60 euros will be taken. The apartment must be vacated by 12.00 noon on the day of departure to allow cleaning and change of linen.
