About the home

Jardines de la Duquesa is a small exclusive enclosed complex on a gentle sloping hill overlooking Duquesa golf course next to it, the marina below and the Mediterranean Sea. The far reaching views stretch several miles from the east to the west in a 180º angle and on clear days you can see the coast of Africa.

The communal areas consist of large gardens, a swimming pool, children's pool and sun loungers.
The apartment is equipped with central hot and cold air conditioning, It has been finished off with clear marble floors, double glazed windows, light wooden doors.

It's in walking distance to bars, restaurants supermarkets and the beach. Ideal for golf, fishing, mountain tracking holidays. The most famous golf courses like Valderama , San Roque, Alcaidesa, Estepona and Duquesa golf are within 15 min drive. Selwo Adventure park 20 min away. Ideal to make day trips to Morocco. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 20 minutes from the larger resorts such as Puerto Banus and Marbella.

The apartment has been furnished to a high standard. Master bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom with wonderful sea views. Separated is another twin bedroom with 2 single beds and shower room. Both bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes.

Fully equipped kitchen: A stylish kitchen with fridge/ freezer, oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher.

Utility room with washing machine and clothes airer.

Lounge: Spacious living room with a corner sofa, dining table and 4 chairs. Television with TDT freeview channels including English speaking, also a dvd player.

Private sun terrace: The terrace is 23 square metres with panoramic views overlooking the sea, mountains, and marina.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol stretches along just over 150 kms of the Malaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations.

Duquesa is situated between Marbella and Gibraltar, close to the picturesque fishing town of Estepona and 25 minutes drive to the famous Puerto Banus.

The area around Duquesa boasts an array of golf courses, including the championship Valderrama and San Roque.

The surrounding area has a collection of activities including theme and water parks, mini golf, go-karting and an open-air zoo. Places to visit include Gibraltar with it's famous Barbary apes (don't forget to take your passport!) also Tangiers in North Africa is only a short boat ride away. Cadiz and Seville are within driving distance.

The climate in the winter is still very mild, but if you wish to go skiing, then the Sierra Nevada is only a 2 hour drive away.

If you've had enough of the beach, then a short drive will take you to the shops in Puerto Banus and Marbella, or stroll around the many different choices of bars, restaurants and night clubs.

The Duquesa / Los Hidalgos area

Duquesa has a beautiful marina and lies between two clean blue flag sandy beaches including beach bars.

The port offers a wide choice of amenities including banks, supermarket, beauticians and a variety of restaurants and bars including French, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, English and of course Spanish.

Local activities would include fishing, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing and diving.

Across from the marina is La Duquesa Golf and Country Club, an 18 hole course with wonderful sea and mountain views. The club also has tennis, squash, and a fully equipped gym.
