This apartment is finished and furnished to a very high standard. All fixtures and fittings are brand new and very high quality. The apartment itself was built by one of Spains leading developers, Ros y Falcon using very high specification materials and equipment. The kitchen includes washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge freezer.
The lounge includes Samsung 32" LCD TV, DVD and SKY TV with 3 and 2 seat leather sofas and large dining table with 6 leather backed dining chairs.

The apartment is fitted with a central aircon system which also heats for those cooler winter evenings.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Duquesa / Puerto de la Duquesa area
One of the prettiest ports in the area with a good variety of restaurants including English, Spanish, Italian, Indian and Chinese. You can spend hours just watching the world go by.
The port is totally unspoilt as you can see from the pictures above with excellent, uncrowded sandy beaches running in both directions.
A few minutes walk either direction along the coast takes you to typical Spanish Villages with restaurants frequented by the locals where the menu del dia will cost around 5 euros each for a 3 course meal.
How to get there
Puerto de la Duquesa is 5 minutes from Estepona. The nearest airports are Malaga and Gibraltar, both of which are under an hour by car. The easiest is Malaga as you can sometimes queue for up to 40 minutes to get out of Gibraltar and car hire is generally cheaper in Spain. Malaga to Duquesa is around 40 minutes on the toll motorway (approx 8 euros) but we prefer the normal road which is free and takes 50 minutes to an hour.
Car hire is normally under £100 for a week and is the best way of travelling but there are buses and taxis available for your transfer. We can arrange lifts from Malaga for around 90 euros each way and Gibraltar for around 50 euros each way.

Further details indoors: Smoking is not permitted in the apartment but is allowed on the private balcony at the front of the property or the communal balcony at the rear of the property.
Bedroom one has an ensuite bathroom with Jaquzi bath and shower. It has two single beds with very good quality mattresses.
Bedroom two has access to a shower room with WC. It has two single beds with the same quality matresses as the master bedroom. There is a 3rd bed that is hidden under one of the singles that can be pulled ot when needed. Again this bed uses the same quality matress, it is not a "put me up" or "camp bed".
Further details
We are flexible on change-over days. We don't force you to fly on a Saturday when flights are expensive and we offer discounts on extra nights and further discounts for additional weeks.
However, for July and August we do try and get back to back bookings.

We choose not to have a car and used the buses and taxis instead. The management company collected us from the airport and stopped at the hypermarket for us on the way to the apartment, they were really lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Hi Steve & Wendy, We spent a lovely two weeks at your apartment. We wanted a quiet peacful holiday and that is what we got. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. Duquesa Port had some lovely restaurants and the whole place had an up-market feel. Your management company were great and they even came looking for us when we got lost on the way to the apartment.
