About the home

Those who appreciate fine views will simply adore this high quality and outstandingly presented second floor flat. Located to the north of the much loved holiday town of Dunoon within the village of Kirn, this property enjoys a lovely, light-filled setting overlooking the Firth of Clyde. The open play layout coupled with the large bay windows combine to create a bright and airy ambience. Guests will feel in the 'holiday mood' the moment the front door is opened. Apartment Sea View has two lovely bedrooms each with wall mounted TV/DVD to cater for those 'chill out' moments. The latter even extend to the bathroom as it too has a wall mounted TV! Perhaps the most appealing aspect of Apartment Sea View is that its location and aspect almost demand holiday-makers to unwind as they snuggle down and enjoy the views. This area is famous for its sea-life and keen eyed guests will almost certainly spot a seal tossing and turning in the water or even a dolphin.

The Central Scotland / Strathclyde / Argyll and Bute region

This region has a contrasting landscape of lochs, mountains, forests and coastline and it's therefore no coincidence that it's one of the most popular holiday destinations in Scotland.
Its popularity is easy to understand when you consider the mouth watering attractions within its boundaries; which include the beautiful Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in the west and the wonderful forests, mountains and rivers which are characteristic of Tayside and Perthshire to the east.
The city of Stirling can also be found in this area, with its rich historical significance in Scottish history and connections to William Wallace and Robert the Bruce.
The beautiful and unique coastlines here, both on the west coast and east coast, are ideal holiday destinations. Stretching in the west from Oban in the north down to Strathclyde and the Ayr coast, and in the east the coast extends from Dundee and Angus south the along the Fife coast to Edinburgh.

The Dunoon area

Dunoon is one of Scotland's most renowned holiday destinations. It offers a great range of facilities and easy access to the wider cowal peninsular generally regarded as one of Scotland's most scenic regions. Dunoon and its outskirts are a paradise for both fishermen and cyclists and there are opportunities aplenty for launching a small boat or canoe to explore the twists and turns of the fabulous coastline. Golf lovers will definitely enjoy a day spent on Dunoon's superb 18 hole course. This region also offers great walking with a range of trails to test all abilities. For a change of scene visitors should seek out the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, which is only a short drive away. However, no visit to the area would be complete without a trip to see the Giant Redwood trees located within the nearby Benmore Botanic Gardens.
