Home description
Dunmore House is arranged over two storeys, which can be let as a whole or separately. It is built in the traditional Bahamian style and is ideally situated in a quiet location in Dunmore Town just a short stroll from restaurants, shops, the harbour and famous Pink Sands beach.
The Lower Level has one bedroom with a Queen sized bed and a single bed and there is a sofa bed in the living room. The Upper Level has a twin bedded room. Both floors have kitchen facilities and shower rooms. On the Lower Level is a fully fitted kitchen and on the Upper Level a kitchenette.
The property is furnished to high standard throughout and has lovely traditional wooden floors.

The Harbour Island region
Harbour Island is approximately 3.5 miles long by 1.5 miles wide and is totally unspoilt. The Caribbean climate is ideal for winter sunshine and this is a perfect retreat from the trappings of modern life. This is a delightful part of the Bahamas with two marinas and plenty of opportunity for sailing.
Dunmore Town area
Dunmore Town is one of the oldest settlements and the former capital of the Bahamas. It has more of a village atmosphere, is small and quaint and has New England style architecture. The beaches are beautiful, and perfect for relaxing in the sunshine whilst enjoying a good book.
How to get there
There are regular direct flights from the UK to Nassau, Bahamas where you either take the Ferry direct to Harbour Island, 2.5 hours duration, Bahamas Fast Ferries, 001 242 323 2169 or a flight to North Eleuthera, Bahamas Air 001 242 377 8451 or Souther Air Charters 001 242 377 2014/5.
From Miama there are flights by Continental Connection 001 800 525 0280 to North Eleuthera.
From North Eleuthera Airport a short taxi ride takes you to Three Island where there is a frequent speed boat service to Harbour Island.
