As soon as you arrive in Dunfanaghy you immediately get that "holiday feeling" which emanates from this very pretty seaside town. The town has evolved as a centre of relaxation with pubs, restaurants, craft shop and art galleries.

"A very relaxing weekend"
After a very stressful few months we felt we needed a well earned break away and we couldn't have chosen a more perfect location. This holiday apartment ticked all our boxes. Beautifully presented and maintained, it was truly idyllic. The apartment had all the amenities needed and indeed I would go as far to say it was luxurious. The view over the sea from the apartment was breathtaking in the morning. It was quiet and peaceful and only a short drive from the town of dunfanaghy if we wanted a little excitement. Donegal were in the All Ireland Football Final so there was a real buzz about the town. I hope we get to go back to the apartment for another visit some time in the future.

"Horn Head really should be called Heaven Head"
Well what can I say other than amazing... Very hard to put into words the sheer beauty of this magnificent property and location.
The cottage has a very rustic and traditional feel but with lots of modern features and technology that have been blended perfectly.
We stayed for a long weekend but wish we had of booked a longer stay. The town of Dunfanaghy is small but has plenty of great pubs which provide live music every night of the week and are great for a nights entertainment. If you enjoy walking and taking in the sights this is also the place to be.
Thanks very much for a great stay will be back in the near future all being well but this time for much longer I hope!!
