About the home

Laganore Cottages are located in a quiet cul-de-sac with parking and gardens. There is access to the 18 Hole Dunfanaghy Golf Course and beautiful 3km long Killyhoey beach just across the road from the cottages. Portnablagh Harbour and beach are just a 5 minute walk away

It is a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Dunfanaghy village with its shops,cafes, pubs, restaurants and hotels. 5 mins walk to the Cove Restaurant at Portnablagh Harbour.

The cottage is very comfortable and has fully equipped kitchen, leather sofas, stone fireplace with open fire , satellite TV and DVD player for cosy evenings in.
The house is also child friendly and has a travel cot, stair gate, fire guard and high chair.

Dunfanaghy is an ideal location for many activities including golf, fishing, boating, horseriding, cycling, diving and cycling. There are many beautiful beaches nearby including the Blue Flag beach at Marble Hill. Glenveagh National Park, Ards Forest Park, Errigal Mountain and Dunlewey lakes are all a short drive away.

By Car: Follow signs for Letterkenny and from there on to Kilmacrennan, Cresslough, Port-na-Blagh and Dunfanaghy. The property is on the left about halfway between Port na Blagh and Dunfanaghy. Turn left into entrance ot the old Port na Blagh Hotel and then take immediate right into Laganore development. The property is the 3rd house on left.

“Cosy comfortable cottage in a perfect location” Booked this house for a half-term break. The house was very well equipped and comfortable. It was a real treat to arrive up on a chilly day to find the heat on! What a lovely welcome. One great fetaure of this property is its location ~ we parked the car on arrival and didn't get back in until returning home. We walked everywhere ~ the beach is just across the road, the harbour around the corner, The Cove Restaurant is a 5 minute walk away, and the village is about a 10 minute walk. The weather wasn't brilliant, so enjoyed a movie or 2 on Film 4! I have rented a lot of houses in Donegal over the last 10 years, and this is the first one to offer bed linen! It just makes life a little easier to not worry about making beds! Heating and hot water were really easy to use and manage. Really enjoyed the weekend & will be back.

“Very relaxing holiday” This is a very comfortable cottage and well equipped for a family break. Excellent location in a quiet area close to the beach and an excellent restaurant. The cottage is well maintained and excellently presented on arrival. Sat TV, CD & DVD player excellent for the wet & windy Donegal evenings.
